Does the 7000 clean pod use a cleaning solution?

Yes the cleaning solution is contained within the pod. It cleans, disinfects, lubricates the rotary cutting heads, and smells nice as well. Note: I always rinse my shaver off under the faucet first. Shake off the excess water and then place the shaver on the cleaning station. Think about it... why unnecessarily gunk up the cleaning solution with a bunch of whiskers when the vast majority of it can be washed away under the faucet. Personal preference and opinion - that’s all.
