Surprisingly loose, no good for power tools, waste of good money IMHO
I've other Wera products, and thought this would be a no brainer. But it is very loose on the 1/4" square drive, and the 1/4" hex drive is also loose. A Wera 1/4 hex drive bit wobbles all over the place: in and out by 4mm and sideways by 14mm (the quality Wera bit being 9cm long), and you can pull any bit out of it - bits aren't totally secure (as they are in other Wera adaptors). Also, the adaptor doesn't automatically click/lock like all my other 1/4 adaptors. I'm using it on a Wera hand ratchet, but I'd definitely advise against using it on a power tool as it would be unsafe. Also, it's expensive (as you expect from Wera) - but this time it isn't worth it. Weird and disappointing. PS My old Wera 1/4" screwdriver grips the bit rigidly, and it barely wobbles in/out or across, and it also clicks in automatically. Is there something wrong with this new adaptor, or are they all rubbish like this one?
