Very powerful and has a digital battery power display so you can see how much charge it has. It is excellent value for money and good quality being made from aluminium.

Well for the price I wasn’t expecting too much. But it’s actually really good When fully charged, it’s really extremely bight and with being able to adjust the beam of light. It’s been really handy. Being rechargeable is great as saves on constantly buying new batteries. The light output does drop a bit when it gets to around 60% battery level, but still bright enough to use Metal construction, so feels robust and has a bit of weight. But still easy enough to carry around

I’ve awarded this torch the full five stars. The children have already dubbed it the “beam cannon”, and for once their enthusiasm is spot on. Switch it on and a crisp white circle shoots out for what feels like the length of three or four football pitches, yet the torch itself is small enough to live in the glove box. One press is all it takes, so I am not faffing about with different modes while trying to keep hold of a couple of scooters and the spaniel’s lead. A quick twist of the bezel swaps that pin-sharp spot for a wide, even flood, perfect for hunting down rogue golf balls at dusk. It recharges through USB-C in no time and will even top up my phone when I am caught short. The battery runs for roughly ten hours, and a neat LCD display tells me exactly how much juice I have left. The aluminium body and IPX7 sealing laugh off rain and the odd drop onto the patio. All told, the build quality is excellent, the brightness is astonishing, and the price makes it a genuine bargain.

I am giving this product 4 stars as even though it is an excellent torch and very bright, sturdy and excellently made, the battery life is very poor. It does not last even an hour. I used the torch on a dark dog walk and within an hour I had to return home as the torch had gone from 100% to zero in around 40 minutes. I charged it back up to 100% last night. Then using it this evening in my garden to smoke a cigarette and take my dogs out to toilet, it was on only 85%!! Without having been used since the full charge! Then whilst using it for literally 2 minutes I observed the power percentage drop from the 85% down to 80%!! In literally 2 minutes only. I switched it off, came back inside and switched it back on to see the battery percentage showing as only 70%!! This I don't know if its down to poor internal fault or battery fault. I did notice that the plastic box containing the torch did not have any kind of sealing on it. I.e there was no cardboard box surround the torch box and there was not any shrink wrap either. The display already had small scratches on the screen plus the battery inside did not have a plastic ring to prevent discharge before or during shipping. The battery itself has dirt and scratches on the plastic itself. I suspect I might have been sent a previous used returned item. I am gutted as I love this torch. Its strong and powerful. But it's unreliable. I needed it to walk to work and back in the dark safely as a large portion of my route is in pitch black (no street lights on the path that runs through fields) and to safely walk my dogs on the earky dark evenings. Sadly I will be returning this torch. I will purchase another and hope that the replacement (amazon don't provide a replacement service for this item, only returns) doesn't have this fault with it. I could purchase another battery but why should I have to? And as I have stated I think this is a previously used and returned item sadly. It was bought as brand new. Otherwise its an excellent torch and very bright with a wide field of illumination plys the strobe/searchlight function does travel very far. I can easily see right over to the other end of large long fields with it. The only thing that has let it down is how quickly battery depletes. And I had searched many torches, reading many reviews before deciding on this beast of a torch. Otherwise I am happy with it. Sure beats using my Samsung phones torch!

Excellent brightness covering a large area and far reaching when in single one mode. Also fast to charge. I live in the middle of nowhere and needed a strong torch and the Phixton 500000 is a game changer. I had a slight problem with the second torch that I purchased and the after sales service was superb. They replaced it immediately.

I had been waited to buy this torch for whole of my life . I always wanted one from my little age . It is overwhelming and such an excitement! I had my early Christmas?! It is now August in the uk . This torch is absolutely gorgeous, beautiful and lovely to hold in my little hand. The heaviness is compensated with ultra pro look and blight lights of 1000000 lumens. The code is soft on my soft skin and gentle . Other day when I come back home from my club I was tearful as absolutely no lights on my way in nature after 21:00 . I never lived in such an environment as I glown up in big capital cities. The day is beautiful with swans and ducks and birds but at the evening, I saw completely different face of the nature . I don’t drive a car so this becomes vital for me to carry with me in case I get late afternoon. In winter I cannot even see anything to throw my bin . I was convinced with other videos and I can confirm that it is true that this is an awesome blight torch . My childhood dream is now coming true! I got to be careful not to be far too much excited like a kid to explore nature in darkness as not safe at all but I am excited as this is like a new gadget for a young boy ! You can make the beam bigger by turning the head part and it seems to be adequate to be used in a darkest walking path . The glass part is round and a jewel like . It satisfies both boy and girl needs . I have my duck feather pouch to protect this so far and put it in a water proof bag . I will look after this but as it is a bit heavy , like a water bottle of gym , it is possibly better to carry by hand rather than in a bag . Very comfortable to hold it ! But I can even think of dedicated shoulder mini bag for it , then non stoppable for my walking!! 😅 Hope I am not the only one . I am very happy!! Thank you

Very bright! Three brightness modes, but I'd prefer if the dimmest mode were a little dimmer. I also wish it had the ability to switch directly into that dimmest mode. The brightest mode provides enough light that I mounted it on my handlebars, with a bungee cord, and used it as a bicycle headlight! The variable focus is nice, and with a substantial adjustment range. However, I've seen some variable-focus flashlights have a mechanism to lock the beam width, which this doesn't have. Construction feels solid, but it's a little heavier than I'd like. I sometimes go on walks in the evening and just put a flashlight in my pocket for when it gets dark enough that it's needed. I'm concerned this is going to feel a little heavier in my pockets than I'd like, particularly when it's hot and I'm just wearing gym shorts. So, I might look for a different model that's even smaller. I think what really earns it the 5th star is the price. As it includes a substantial Lithium Ion battery and [i]also[/i] gives you the option use AAA, the value for money seems very strong. Another bonus is how you can use it as a USB power source! Update: I recently bought a spare 26650 cell for this. Although the included batter isn't labelled, that seemed to be what it is and the 7000 mAh spare I bought worked perfectly, in spite of actually being 69 mm long! I had naively assumed all 26650 batteries would be the same dimensions. Also, I successfully charged it in the flashlight and I've charged the flashlight's included battery in a standard Li-ion battery charger.
