Review: This soundbar gives real cinematic experience ♥️ - I purchased Q800F on 4th October, 2025 from Reliance Digital Kolkata for Rs 39,000 approx with credit card and shop discount. I compared the product with Sony & JBl in showroom but this one is out of the box product. It gives real cinematic experience and while listening song it felt like a songs playing in old Sony Hifi system of 2000's. Great value for money product 👌
Review: So I wanted to get rid of my components and have a clean look in my living room. I also wanted to have incredible sound for music and movies without all the bulky components. I watched all the reviews and became obsessed with finding the best sound bar system money could buy. I have been fascinated with loud audio my whole life. I have had monsterous car stereos with giant subs and multiple amps. So I have gotten older I just appreciate music sounding more full, loud, but yet clean. I still want the power but the sound quality must be there to support it. I wanted the nakamichi dragon but also didn’t want to wait for it. I also wasn’t too keen on having multiple subwoofers in my living room. It’s not tiny but also not huge (18x22ft with 8 foot ceiling height). I was lured into the Klipsch cinema 1200 due to its wattage and the massive 12” subwoofer. I figured Klipsch is a high quality company and this thing must sound amazing? Upon arrival I wasn’t thrilled with the build quality on any aspect of it except the sub. Once I hooked it up the sub seemed to be at low power and the Bluetooth never worked unless you reset it. There were moments of tremendous bass where I thought ok this is going to work, but it just didn’t do it for me. The system was buggy, it would get close to winning me over then let me down. I would have to unplug speakers then plug them back in. It just wasn’t the quality I had expected. I sent that back and decided to order the q990b because of the raving reviews. I was hesitant because the power is only 656 watts, and the sub is just a tiny 8” woofer. Let me be very clear here, those are all really just numbers on a piece of paper and I would ignore them. The box showed up and it was half the size of the Klipsch I had ordered. My buddy and I were laughing at it and I said, “well, I’m sure I will like this one even less.” When unboxing it I was impressed with the build quality and weight of each component despite its much smaller size. The subwoofer felt kinda light and compact and being a bass head I thought this is going to be way to weak for me. Then I noticed the box said q990c… I had ordered the q990b and paid that price. So I looked at the bottom of the bar and it was a 990c! So I hooked it up and listened to some music in stereo mode because I have pandora. I was happy but had mixed emotions at first. The secret to this system is to use Apple Music and unlock the true Dolby Atmos signals. After a few weeks I figured this out and ohhhh my…. I have never heard cleaner and more precise, immersive, and beautiful audio in my life! Once you get this this thing dialed in it is astounding! It’s performance in movies is obviously it’s strong point and very strong it is…. However, I listen to more music and it can do that in a crazy way when the correct settings and streaming is accomplished. Dolby music in Apple Music is out of this world. For some reason the rear speakers don’t engage in this but it doesn’t even matter? The bar puts music everywhere and the subwoofer is some sort of magic I just cannot understand. I have spent countless hours just enjoying this immersive sound and clarity that I have never experienced before. I have no idea how the 8” sub can do this and seem to not even be working that hard? The system amazes me at certain moments every time I turn it on. No connection loss, no bs, it just does it’s thing and it is so underrated. I listen to audio loud and this gets loud enough for me, I have never heard any distortion. It seems to protect itself from that? Your friends will be impressed by the atmos sound it throws out there, it’s truly something else! If it doesn’t sound truly amazing it is because of the compressed or stereo quality audio you are feeding it. If you use current and quality audio streaming it will blow your socks off!

**Q: Why would samsung use wi-fi 4 (802.11n in a state of the art sound bar. there is wifi 5, 6,6e,and 7. wifi 4 is the first wifi back in 2006?**

**Q: I have no sound using bluetooth or arc hdmi. worked on initial setup, but when i turned it back on 1 hour later...dead in the water. any suggestions?**
A: Hi there,

There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot your Soundbar. 

First, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds and then plug it back in. 

Next, with the Soundbar on, press the + & - (Volume UP/DOWN) buttons on the body at the same time for at least 5 seconds. “INIT OK” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset.

The HW-Q700C Soundbar does not come with rear speakers. You will need to purchase the SWA-9500S Wireless Rear Speakers.

**Q: Do any of these sound bars have enough power to really play music as well or better than my current stereo and speakers?**
A: Music is very subjective when it comes to each person's ears, and also depends on just how picky of an audiophile you are.  When I purchased the Q910B, I ran it back and forth against my Infinity Reference towers with Onkyo receiver for over a week, and each had its strengths and weaknesses, but in the end, the Infinitys and Onkyo ended up in my closet.

We purchased this sound bar after moving to a home with uneven, cathedral ceilings in an open kitchen/living room/dining room/sunroom combination for the main living space. Our sons purchased a sixty-inch Samsung TV for us, which has high-definition viewing, but the sound bounces around the big, open spaces. We connected our older sound bar, but the sound was still not focused enough to catch all of the changes in pitch and decibel ranges. This system was a bit tricky to sync until my husband downloaded the digital manual, LOL. The quality of the surround sound system is amazing! Because we have young children who frequently visit, we are delighted that we could place the speakers that go "behind" one's seating area on the soffits/cabinets above the stove and refrigerator. Now, I can listen to interviews, news reports, and DIY programs without stopping my food prep to try to understand what individuals are actually sharing in their conversations. This system is definitely worth the extra cost--- we consider the price to be a fair market value. We too used a Star Wars movie to test the surround sound elements, as discovered in the video posts we watched to determine how to troubleshoot the syncing of the speaker system with the television. The John Williams fanfare and background sounds are rich in tone and celebratory! Resolving our sound issues felt like a victory! I hope this review will help you make a decision and that you will seek a digital manual for a simple solution for syncing the speakers.
