Upgrading from Lava Z66 to Lava Storm Play 5G. This device is a performance Oriented Phone so the camera is Okish type, just like every other budget phone. Though the images are very sharp if taken in daylight or good lighting conditions and you have the freedom to edit it. This device feels very smooth, the display though 720p, somehow supports 2K HDR don't know how but looks very sharp and renders way more details than the older device. The phone feels a little bigger There is Zero Lag, and no hang as the processor is great and support upto 5lac antutu score. The fingerprint sensor is side mounted and very fast Sound quality is really loud and detailed even though it's a single speaker. The 2K videos are sharp, and EIS is supported in 1080p. For me it's great and great for long term.

Awesome product LAVA, just loving it. Feels great to have an indigenous brand come out with such a quality product. In hand feel of the smartphone with stock android is awesome and the performance is great. Though budget device but one year longer update support and better camera optimization would have been the cherry on the cake. Given the quality hardware i.e the Sony sensors, camera image generation doesn't justify. Hope the issue ll get resolved with updates. All in all, simply superb.

[Updates] Major issue i faced is its not very durable and if broken they cost 350 Rupees for each visits and doesnt cover physical warranty so be careful, coz the glass used is Panda glass or something, get a good tempered glass. - Battery is Best More than a day - Performance Decent is capable of doing gaming with high fps, pubg only supports 40fps - Display Quality is nice even tho 720p - Camera is fine most of the time, also selfie camera is fine - 5G works fine - Koi heating issue sach me nhi hoti - Supports Fast Charging without any issue, I use 67W charger - Fingerprint & Face unlock works Nicely - No Bloatwares - Has Useful Security Features - Duraspeed closes application can be switched on for application to work in background which is good Problems exist : - SERVICE CENTERS AND WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS are not good - Software Lags & jitters in between usage, can be fixed with software updates - In Usage Display might not look good because the resolution of images and videos doesn't meet this display quality but watch 4k and everything is great - Camera is not good for evening time photos and duur ka photo - Speakers are not good, use earbuds or earphones - Earpiece speaker voice sounds messy and not understandable in normal calls but in Internet calls voice is clear and good like whatsapp Phone is Nice and is features rich for users. It is handy, not very durable, but better than many under 10k price. I will rewrite this review after somedays to update whatever I got for this phone to say about.. thank you Lava!! keep it up!! 8 months useseg of lava Strom play 5g. Points. 1. Display 4/5 ,2. Bettry 3.5/5& charging speed 18w is good but it's should be 33w and large 6000mah bettry 3.ram& storage is great 5/5, 4. Processor is great 5/5, 5th cemera is good but it can be improve 3.5/5, last and 6th point software is best clean but it's best to provide 2year of android update policy 4/5

I’ve been using this phone for a while now, and honestly, it is excellent for this price segment. Within the 12k budget, it easily beats a lot of the usual Chinese brands. ​The best part? Absolutely no hanging problems or lag during daily use- it runs completely smooth. The build quality feels very hardy and solid in hand, not like cheap plastic. The battery easily lasts for 1 full day of heavy use, and the camera is quite decent for what you pay. If you want a perfect, reliable phone without breaking the bank, just go for it!
