Great book! Lots of wonderful projects to do.

Loved the look and feel of this book. Several of the patterns are definitely on a must-make list. Useful, beautiful items which will stand the test of time.

This lovely book I found at my local library contains elegant knitted and crocheted items using Rowan yarn. There are 3 main sections with 20 patterns. Out of a total of 20 patterns, there are 15 pillows (or cushions and one pillowcase cover). This book should have been named "Vintage Pillows" maybe ('homespun' just doesn't seem to fit). Don't get me wrong, they are all pretty and this is a beautiful book. I just wish there were more blankets, tea cozies, or containers for use in the home. Or maybe just a different title for the book.

This book was very disappointed in this book. When I brought this I thought it was going to be on antique coverlets.it was a waste of my money.

FEW NICE SIMPLE IDEAS EASY TO MAKE

Ich liebe Jane Crowfoot's designs. Es sind tolle Sachen zum Nacharbeiten in dem Buch, auch garnicht schwer, aber ein bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig ist es nach wie vor, dass die Anleitungen beschrieben sind und nicht als Diagramm dargestellt werden. Aber da muss man halt durch. Tolles Buch.

This is a beautifully produced hardback book with a quality vintage feel to it and many clear photos of the projects of which there are twenty. Most of the projects are cushion covers with an odd bedspread, rug etc thrown in. I love most of the cushion designs and intent to make several of them - some are beaded, some have other embellishments and others are relatively plain. I think anyone who likes knitting or crocheting cushions would find something in this book to make and there is something for all skill levels.

I bought this book as a gift and it is lovely. I'm quite envious and really wish I could knit! My friend is going to love this!

Bought this book as a gift. The photos and instructions are good, and there's a good range of items to make using different techniques. Some of the designs are not to my taste, so I'd only really recommend this if you are into more vintage styles of soft furnishings.
