Does this one make the high pitch piercing sound thr Revlon one does?

Mine makes a piercing sound on the high and cool settings. It goes from a normal blow dryer sound and fluctuates to the piercing noise. Hurt my ears. Hoping it is just defective and to get a new one with no issues.
