It's a GREAT but a costly product . My husband is allergic to fragrance so I have to use ALL unscented items.

It is definitely fragrance free…I have allergy to fragrance and mousse does not aggravate it.

I have fine, thin, wavy 2B hair and occasionally like to style my natural waves using the “scrunch out the crunch” method with gel or mousse. I hate having perfumey fragrance in my hair but it was pretty difficult to find an unscented mousse, so I found and decided to try this fragrance-free one from No Nothing.I shake the can and apply on very damp hair just out of the shower by using “prayer hands”, then scrunching. Then, I let air dry for a couple hours (or diffuse a bit if I’m in a rush) and sleep on it since I shower at night. Then I break up any leftover crunchy cast in the AM using my hands with a scrunching motion again.I find this mousse to be truly unscented, and it doesn’t have too much of a sticky feeling to it like other mousses I’d tried in the past. I do rinse it off my hands after using, but once dry and scrunched out in my hair I can’t tell anything is there.It's decent for frizz management, but my qualm is that it doesn’t add as much definition to my waves as I would like - less so than a gel. It’s a bit difficult to get it to form nice clumps with this mousse when compared to gel. It also doesn’t have a super strong hold for overnight use - it tends to look nice and defined right after styling and drying but then the waves have fallen a bit flat again by the next AM. It’s good enough for working from home on a zoom meeting, but needs refreshing or heat styling for anything else. I’ll finish the bottle and probably pair it with a gel but likely wouldn’t buy it again because it just didn’t add enough hold or definition for my liking.

I have bought this product twice. The first time it ended up frozen in my mailbox. I had trouble with it not foaming and it was only half gone before it no longer would come out of the bottle. I thought it was because it had been frozen in the mailbox, so I bought it again because I liked the way it worked on my hair. No such luck, still does not foam properly and the bottle is still half full and it will not eject from the bottle. This is very expensive to buy to only use half the container. Do not buy this.

Does a good job but only need a small amount which is nice.

I bought this mousse a while ago and loved it. What seemed like a teeny tiny container lasted a year! It is comforting to know that it doesn't contain harmful chemicals. It seems to work really well. It gives my hair more shininess and body.Why the negative review then? Well, money is tight, and I thought -- I need a new one but it's $28.00! Okay -- I paid $28 last time and it lasted a year -- that's reasonable. I got the new bottle. Even though I had some left in the old one, I tried out the new one. The dispenser is defective on this one. It's almost impossible to get out the mousse. It takes a lot of hand strength which I don't have. In the meantime, I go into my orders and guess what -- NO REFUNDS ALLOWED and NO RETURNS or EXCHANGES!!! I was like "WHAT???????" How could they sell a defective item and not allow communication to return it. With that said, thank you, Amazon -- I called them, and they made it right.In summary, it is a great product but buyer beware -- if you get a defective bottle -- too bad for you!

I've been trying to switch to unscented products as my allergies are getting worse and worse. A lot of products that are labeled "unscented" are *not* unscented. The mousse is.I don't have much experience using mouse. After shaking well, I put a little on my palm and I thought it was too thin, but then it started to *grow* in my hand until it reached the same amount of foam I've experienced with other products. My advice is to put a tiny bit in your palm and wait a couple of seconds.I used too much the first time and my hair was sort of "crispy" but that was my fault. I can still feel that there is product in my hair, but, well, there *is* product in my hair. If you are looking for unscented, this is the mousse for you!
