Make sure you get the right size
Very well made. Unfortunately the 10 mesh is too large for what I need to sift. (Not the companies fault) I just didn’t know at the time what I needed. Also the 4 inch is actually too small to do much sifting at a time. I have learned that a 60 mesh works for my needs, and I bought a 8” to help get the job done much faster. Don’t know what I will use this one for but it’s probably the best made sieves out there.

Excellent craftsmanship, but you MUST know the mesh hole size you need before you buy
IF YOU KNOW YOUR HOLE SIZE before you buy, you'll be delighted. These are very nicely made. I use mine to separate chopped nuts from the finer nut dust that I don't want to sprinkle over my ice cream; I save the nut dust to use in baking. But be aware that the SIEVE MESH COMES IN A RANGE OF STANDARD HOLE SIZES. It retains objects larger than the hole size and lets smaller items pass through. When you see a "mesh number" with no units, it's talking about the NUMBER of holes per inch - for example, a size 6 mesh has 6 holes per inch and will selectively retain item larger than 1/6 of an inch in the sieve basket. This manufacturer offers sieves in a variety of mesh sizes, so know which one you want or buy several in different sizes.

Rusting
Rusted after one use of only passing water through! My coworker also bought four of them and had the same experience. I have bought other 100 mesh strainers from a different supplier (larger ones) and have not had any rusting issues.
