Inspired by Chan.el's Cha.nel No. 5

At first I felt this to be too strong, there is an element of "cheap perfume" as a top note to the very start. However this fades very quickly and upon drying even for a short bit has a surprising accuracy to the original. For the price it's wonderful, may not be for everyone.

It smells like baby powder. It's strong at first, and then it doesn't last long. Which is a good thing, because who in their right mind wants to smell like a nasty baby? Apparently, a lot of people say Channel No 5 smells like baby powder, so if that's really what it smells like, I guess save a bunch of money and stink like a baby for cheap and buy this junk. Or, save even more money and just buy a bottle of baby powder at the dollar store. Because it's not even worth the money I wasted.

15 years ago, I used to buy the real Chanel 5• I have purchased from this seller before and the Chanel five smells just like the other. It’s a great price. I’ll definitely probably try obsession next. It’s a great non-namebrand

The initial spray smells like Chanel #5, but within a minute it took on a strong musty smell. On me, it also burned a little. That makes me sad, I had to wash it off immediately. The price was good, but I will have to return it.

My mother had a bottle of the real thing, which she never wore, but I tried it as a teen. It was too mature for me at the time but now I like it. Contrary to what many ppl believe, perfumes do not go "off" but your taste in fragrances evolves. This is a good copy, worth the price. Despite the thousands of new perfumes designed in the past 100 years, this one remains the icon. The smell is hard to describe, it is not exactly fresh or sexy. It does not smell like dessert baking in the oven. It is not fruity. If you are looking for something different from what everyone else if wearing, this might be it.

This is a poor dupe for the original. The scent is very aggressive and and smells cheap.

Pretty close to the 'real' Chanel no. 5. The scent is long lasting and smells like Chanel to me. I agree with another reviewer a bit goes a long way. It is a nice size bottle and should last for some time (unless you bathe in fragrance). I cannot justify spending well over $100.00 for the authentic version, I'm not trying to impress anyone. This works for me and I am very pleased with my purchase
