Burda Tracing Carbon Paper 1 x Blue 1 x Red by Burda

Since in box fabric stores are disappearing, I needed this for my sewing projects. Good quality product.

This is a great product. Actually works

Nice old fashioned carbon paper. It's only 2 pieces but they're substantially large. I would've liked a yellow color as well but red shows where navy doesn't. I doubt if this comes off easily but the dots are tiny and not smudge-y. I only use where a marker won't work like marking chest pockets on 2 front pieces at once. If it weren't so pricey I would probably get in the habit of using it more. The carbon doesn't rub off on your hands or anything it brushes up against. I don't know why tracing paper went out of vogue. It has its uses.

I trace my paper patterns rather than cut them so it’s easier to use them longer or preserve multi size markings that the makers are using more. Apparel pieces can be quite large so large copy paper like this makes tracing easier and faster. The marks from the tracing tool come out clear for cutting and vanish after the garment is washed.

Though I have to go over the pattern lines firmly, the result is great and the paper lasts a long time through many patterns. Love it

So happy I found this tracing paper. Marks transfer well to fabrics. Each color comes in a large sheet which you can cut into more manageable pieces for preparing your sewing project.

The lines traced off well onto both layers of fabric. Instructions warn that the carbon won't wash out if it's ironed. Yep. It doesn't wash out if it's ironed. But how can a garment be constructed without pressing the darts and pleats, which this paper is designed to trace? Very disappointed.
