This doll is so precious and one of my new favorites from american girl in sometime. I absolutely love the new outfits with a full set rather than the last dress. I prefer the new shirt over journals too ! If you have doubts just go for it !

I have two daughters who love American Girl dolls. They are ages 7 and 9, nearly 8 and 10. They love dressing them up and make believing with them. My oldest even throws them around as if they’re cheerleading. This doll isn’t what I ordered. I ordered the blonde king hair girl as that’s what my daughter has. Instead, I was sent the brunette. So, while I’m not happy I didn’t get what I ordered, I am reviewing the brunette.The quality of the doll is excellent. It’s as if she came straight from the AG store. Her hair came in a hair net so that it’s in perfect condition. Her eyes open and close as they should if she’s put horizontal as if sleeping or stood up. Her clothes are colorful and my daughters love the tie die since it’s currently on trend. It’s the perfect size doll for slightly older girls.She even comes with a colorful booklet that the owner can fill out all about her and her doll. It’s probably around a 3-4th grade level, but my riding 2nd grader will be able to read it (with a little help) and she’ll be thrilled to fill out her information as well.Overall, this doll is beautiful and for those who are looking for an American Girl dolls, this is worth every penny.

So cute! Outstanding doll and terrific company. I started getting the historical American Girl dolls when my daughter was in elementary school and they are of the highest quality no matter how they are played with. I ordered this one because the color of the hair (more of a carmel color, not really brown or blond) is like my granddaughter’s and the quality and condition is consistent. I would like to get blue eye color eventually for another granddaughter and hopefully that color with the light brown hair will become available in the future. The size is good for posing and for doll furniture; no tipping when posed and can stand without falling over. While the doll is pricey, the value of these dolls is beyond question in my opinion in terms of how long they will hold up to heavy play. They will last forever. Extra accessories and clothing are available too.The clothes are high quality as well. The seams are finished with no loose threads. Machine washable and dry without the color fading. The shoes slip on and off easily. The hair is simple to brush and style, even for a 4 year old. Her face just lit up when she opened the box! An extra Tshirt is supplied with the same classic colors of American Girl dolls. Doll is washable with soap and water. Love this doll.

I feel like this doll's hair looks more like dark honey blonde in person or at least it does to me. I don't know if it's my computer screen, because color can appear different on different screens, but her hair looks lighter blonde in the product photos. That said, she's a really pretty doll. Her hair is long and soft. She is excellent quality, true to the American Girl brand. These dolls can last for a very long time if well taken care of. My girls have vintage AG dolls that are still in great shape.She comes with a letter jacket and a cute outfit. She also has an extra shirt. The outfit is the same for all of the current Truly Me line. I like the striped socks that they come with and the color coordinated star shirt. This line of dolls makes it easier for a child to find a doll that looks like them. It also makes it where it's easier to find a combination of features that you are looking for.I look at reviews a lot while shopping. I hope this review helps!

The Truly Me #131 doll from American Girl is a delightful addition to my collection. She has sandy blonde hair, brown eyes, and slightly tanned skin tone - a picture of charm and beauty. Her hair is straight and, in my opinion, the softest of all the AG dolls I own. She comes dressed in a modern and trendy outfit that includes pink tennis shoes, white rainbow socks, a rainbow star t-shirt, a denim skirt, and a pink letterman jacket. The outfit is fun and fashionable, perfectly suited to this doll. An extra pink t-shirt in the box offers another styling option. Her face mold appears to be the standard Truly Me mold, which is incredibly cute. As for durability, this doll is well made and sturdy enough to withstand a child's play. As an adult collector, my dolls are primarily for display, but they do occasionally take a tumble. It's reassuring to know that this doll is built to last and won't easily break.
