I bought refurbished and love it!
I chose the refurbished/returned route and got almost half off. The product was in perfect condition and functions well. I run it on my AR platform for home defense. The light is considered a back up light as I use my surefire as my primary. I recommend this laser light combo, and used a drop of lock tight as I do all accessories. The laser is bright and functions well and holds zero! I'm ordering the rechargeable batteries for it today. Two lights are always better than one kind of like having back up iron sights. Happy pulling boys!

Get what you pay for, but a decent value for the money.
Got this today. After playing around with it for a bit I get why some people aren't happy, but hey it's $50. There are a few issues that if you are willing look past make this a pretty good buy.First, take the pressure switch and throw it away. It's garbage and belongs there. It connects to the light using a standard 12v barrel connection like you'd find on an electric razor, and will come right out on the first shot. It doesn't even seat fully! If you want a pressure switch look elsewhere. Otherwise just cover the port with electrical tape and forget about it.The mounting screw is cheap and easy to strip. Also the threads on the light itself were pretty rough. I put a drop of gun oil on the threads and used the screw to clean them up a bit. Then I used loc-tite to keep it secure when mounted. Don't overtighten it or you will be making a trip to the hardware store for a new one. Also, the reason the laser doesn't hold zero is because the design sucks. The laser unit is basically held in place in the case by two barrel screws that adjust your elevation and windage. These aren't 'clicky' screws you would find on a real weapon sight, and turn with little resistance. There's no way they will hold zero because the recoil on anything bigger than a .22 will make them back out. I'm sure Loctite on these will solve the problem as well, but I haven't gotten around to that yet.Aside from these issues, it's a decent unit. It's all aluminum construction, looks like it can take a beating, and the switches feel well built and are nice and clucky. It won't be waterproof because of the port for the remote, but if you tape it up it looks like it would be decently splash-proof. Just don't expect the quality of a stream light.

Light / laser
Very cool and compact. Just buy extra batteries because the laser drains them pretty quickly. Durable I have dropped it while playing airsoft there's some scratches but works flawlessly. It works with both airsoft/ real steel I've used it on my rifle and it holds zero find

great combo
this laser/light combo is amazing. got for my hk mp5 pdw .177 bb gun which im setting up like the ones in resident evil. being a pdw, i wanted something small yet affordable. this works great. light is bright, laser is ok in light but really shows up when the sun goes down. easy to adjust laser too. comes with battery.. will buy more though. mount is solid, very happy with it, rec to anyone.. im planning on ordering a few more of these for some other guns i have in the near future.

Must Read
I dont normally write reviews but there are several things about this Laser/Light combo that i thought were intuitive and also unproductive. First, its a very inexpensive laser/light combo. I bought it solely for the price, hoping it would be interesting, worth my time and space on my rifle. Right off the bat i could tell it was a fair quality item for the price. (paid around $35, shipped in 2 days.) The mount locks tight and efficient. Id never have to worry about it coming lose. I absolutley love single setting lights. No strobe no none sense, just off and on. My biggest problems with this entry level light combo is the pressure pad. The input jack sticks straight out, and has little retention to keep it in. After 5 minutes of shooting or moving, youll snag your cable, activating your light and laser when you didnt want to. I WOULD PAY MORE FOR A 90° INPUT CABLE. My solution was to throw out the pressure pad, mount the light combo on top of my rails far forward in front of my AFG. My hand natural falls too it when i bring up my rifle. (Also still have my primary light mounted, using light/laser combo as backup.) Besides the pressure pad input stupidity, and what is basically a nonexistent battery life you also have a drifting zero on the laser. Adjustments for the laser are very sensitive but suprisingly not positive or precise. (have not fully tested yet) I do enjoy it as a fun temporary accessory. Side note: money doesnt buy quality, but spending under $100 on a light/laser combo is futile. Just save up for a DBALL.

One huge drawback (potential deal breaker)
For 40 dollars, I don’t have much to complain about except the pressure switch. The position they placed the adapter is very sketchy, you will need to be really careful with the device going through threshold, which kinda defeats the purpose. I was moving through a doorframe during training and a slight touch of the doorframe and the adapter, the thing bent like shown in the picture. I tried to find if there was any info for the pressure switch so I can get it replaced, but their website offers nothing, not even information about a model number that you can go out and find a replacement, and they do not sell any pressure switch as well. After some research, I found that they are using their own adapter, and now I lost both light and laser.Other than this huge drawback, it’s not a bad product, laser works great, not hard to zero but not easy also (make the windage and elevation click will be much more better), light is just 180 lumens, so it’s good for indoor, but not for outside. Use it for things like airsoft or training maybe, but if you need this for your job, I would not recommend this at all.

Great budget light/ laser
Really great light/ laser, bought this just to test and am pretty impressed with initial impression. As far as testing I’ve used this on a .223/5.56 and laser stays sighted in. Light is a little weak but still useful. If your not a top tier snob you’ll like this too
