School Bag Anti-theft Zipper-pull Security Latch to Prevent Theft(3/pack)1951

I have ordered several of anti theft zipper pulls and over the last 10 years for my travel purses . I have seen potential nefarious folks round the world look at my purse and walk away. I also have my husband use it to secure his anti theft wallet in his pocket by just using a safety pin on one end. Works great and as expected.

Works as described and using it on my designated overseas travel purse as protection from pickpockets. The only negative is that it came with extra rings that allowed the zipper to be opened enough for a slender hand to slip through and grab whatever they could.

The claim that they make is that these require two hands to open--they don't. They also come with chains--if you leave the chains on, the zipper can still be opened enough to get your hand in, so I would recommend removing the chain (as shown in the picture), and attaching to the base of the zipper so as to minimize the the distance you can move the zippers apart. I would also recommend that you use it on bags or backpacks that have inside panels, and pushing the zipper until it is over the panel so that even if they do get it partially open, they can't reach anything inside the bag. I don't know a lot about pickpockets, but I imagine that these are, at best, psychological deterrents. With a little time and determination (which you might have if you were on a crowded bus or in a large crowd standing still) these could be undone without too much effort. At the very least, they did give me some peace of mind.

So glad I bought these. This simple little lock makes me much more comfortable walking through airports and crowded areas with my backpack. It is easy to open quickly, but will deter the hit and run pick pocket. My husband is really happy with this as well. Great idea!

Travelled abroad and these were perfect for preventing snach and grab by unzipperimg backpack zippers when travelling in a crowd. Would not stop theft on unattended bag since could easily be broken apart.

As advertised. I use it on my backpack strictly to discourage thieves while I'm walking thru airports.

Works great for about 4 -5 months. They have all broken since I purchased
