Ive only used it once since i received this but it works great for ricing potatoes

This item is nice and sturdy. The color is great. It has three disk to make a variety of foods. Dish washer safe was a plus. Made mash potatoes so far and came out wonderful.

I had never used one of these before so when it came in I had to try it. I cooked a couple of Yukon Gold potatoes with the skin on until fork tender then passed them through the disc with the smallest holes as I wanted to see how smooth I could get them. Don't overfill it or you going to have a hard time getting your hands around the handles to squeeze. I love that the skins were left on the top piece and I could just slide them right off. I heated up heavy cream and butter in the microwave so it wouldn't cool the potatoes down, and gently folded the potatoes into the cream so as not to work the starch and make them gummy. I added some Mediterranean sea salt and they were the best mashed potatoes I've ever made possibly the best I've ever had. Since the whole thing comes apart clean up was super easy.
