I love modal T-shirts, and this one is darling! I ordered black in L based on bust measurement, and it's a perfect fit and very flattering! The fabric is very soft. The shirt literally stank when it arrived, so I soaked it overnight in cold water using a delicate fabric wash I bought here on Amazon, and the odor was gone after it dried. (I do not trust the chemicals that are found in some non-USA sourced fabric or garments not produced in the USA.) It did not shrink, and since I hung it to drip-dry, there were no wrinkles. This top has a relaxed fit around the waistline while still highlighting feminine 'curves'! I don't know how the construction will hold up and if the neck will stretch out after several wears, but the price was appealing and worth it for me!

**UPDATE** The XXL fits and drapes PERFECTLY over my chest and hips. Now I have this tunic in 4 colors. I loved the color and material. The sizing for a tunic shirt is WAY OFF for me. I'm 5'3 165lbs hourglass shape. I tried the large and it clings to my bust and hips. I tried the XL and it still clings to my bust and hips. I'm going to try the XXL and hopefully it will drape nicely over my bust and hips. The whole purpose of a tunic is to cover my behind without looking like I tried to squish myself into a tight fitting t-shirt. This is supposed to be a tunic, not a form fitting t-shirt. If the XXL fits nice and loose this will be a perfect shirt for me. I'm hoping.

This is a standard Tshirt in terms of fabric but it’s changed from the past. Originally, it was very light, felt very comfortable. The version I received in this order is thicker, being 35% cotton, 60% polyester, and 5% spandex, but the original was different. It was 100% modal, based on the tag. That means the original shirt was made entirely of modal, a plant-based, semi-synthetic fiber spun from beech tree cellulose. In terms of the current shirt, it’s a little heavier, so if you are in a hot climate, it would feel less in terms of ‘breathing/wicking’ if you are looking for that. It is more durable, if you prefer a typical tshirt. It’s a little disappointing but I should have checked for the fabric type before buying it again. The cut and shape is similar though. To be honest, the original was much better when I am in 100-110 degree weather.

I did have to size up from reading other reviews. I bought different colors in 2022 (magenta, redish-purple, mint, faded shrimpy coral color, lavender), from my 5 shirts, each one says 100% modal. I love the soft feel of the fabric and how it drapes. I don't like that it is a bit too thin to where it shows the silhouette of the belt buckle and belt loops. I wish the modal is less stretchy clingy. It would be nice if the shirts were mixed with polyester and cotton.., dont need to add spandex or lycra, it is a little too stretchy. modal is cellulose fiber from the beech tree, resistant to shrinking, colors stay viberant, no pilling.

I bought several colors of this top. I've worn one every day this week. I only have one left to wear. So far they are all consistent in sizing and great quality. I haven't washed them yet, but plan to wash them separate from my other laundry, in cold water, delicate cycle, and will hang to dry. Hopefully they wash well and hold up well. I carry my weight in my middle, unfortunately. I usually wear an XL. But, I sized up to 2XL, based on my experience ordering "made in China" tops from Amazon. They fit exactly how I'd hoped, fully covering my back and front while wearing legging. Also, I live in an extremely hot, humid climate, and I love the fabric, very comfortable, and hangs smoothly on my not so smooth body! Very happy with these tops!!!

I love these summer tops! These are a great value! They wash and wear great! The material is super soft and comfortable! It is hard to find side splits, which are so forgiving for the stomach and hip area.
