Review: Good stuff - Lao Gan Chili Oil with Fermented Soybeans is the milder cousin of their gum-searing hot and spicy sauce. For us who can't abide the heat, this is the tasty way to go. I just ordered two bottles, but unfortunately one of them had a loose lid. Lots of chili oil leaked out into the box. Since this item is not eligible for replacement, I'm out ten bucks. But I'll order another, it's that good. Gotta stay stocked!

A: I don't think so.  It's made in China.

**Q: The description says black bean, but picture shows soybean. Previous answers contradict. Which is it?**
A: They look like black beans but I don't know for certain.  I've eaten and cooked a lot of Chinese food.  Maybe they are the same.
