Tried it for the first time and can say this taste way better than the one that begins with a "P". After awhile, way back I could not stand this P-drink and to this day, after awhile, cannot stand it again, after trying it once more.I mix this one with a little milk and is remarkably acceptable as a coffee substitute. I could live with this one as even some coffee taste worse than this and I buy roasted beans and grind them myself and could not stand how bad tasting some of them was and that's why I went looking for a coffee substitute.I only need to see how the powder will remain as a powder in about 75% humidity where I live.

I like barley drink, this product is excellent, good flavor and good taste, perfect substitute for the coffe and free of caffeine

I do love the taste but it does not taste like coffee at all

Okay. I gave it 5 stars because I think some will love it. It sets poorly on my stomach, similar to coffee. It smells a bit fishy to my sensitive receptors but that goes away with cream and sugar. So if you drink your coffee with cream and sugar, this is a really good substitute, flavor wise. If your stomach is sensitive to coffee, you might have the same reaction to this. If you like your coffee black, you might not like this.
