They are based on the funny Youtube videos that have gained so much popularity of cats putting themselves into small cylindrical items. So we have done the same with our packaging - but when you take the Misfittens out of the package - you SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE - to FLUFF IT UP into a full kitty!! The Misfittens fluff out by shaking them in the air. Then it should fill out for you! They are meant to be pulled out of the can & fluffed in the air. They are squished into the can so they are flattened by that process - then you just open the can & shake shake shake! On the flip side - when you want to put the kitty back into the can - just squish it back up. It will fit back into the can.
