love these 37646#64 rubber bands
I love these 37646#64 rubber bands! I had a box of them years ago at work, and I still have some I've been using that are 15 years old. I needed more, and I found the exact same box on amz. I primarily use them to keep food containers closed tight when I pack my lunch or when I freeze soups, and they survive freezing, dramatically huge stretches, and repeated use. I can't say enough good things about them.

Regularly on sale for $5 exceptional deal for useful size and color sturdy bands.
I really appreciate things that are highly useful in many situations and I really appreciate good value for my money so this particular product can and has seriously brightened my mood more than once. Weird maybe but true. I've never interacted with the seller beyond purchasing boxes of these but, given the opportunity, I'd happily buy them a beer and happily tell them about my appreciation for folks who still manage to offer something good for a great price in this time of cheap junk swamping the market while still charging inflated prices. These are very well done bands and are thick and sturdy. They have great elasticity that holds up well so long as they aren't exposed to sunlight. The orange color is pleasant and helpful to me. Size 64 is an excellent general purpose size being strong enough to securely hold many different things in many situations while still economical, small and flexible enough for light duty tasks. Of course the economy is compounded by the, frankly, stunningly low price that I've seen these regularly offered at. These would still be an excellent value at double the $5/lb price that I've paid several times over the last 18 months to now 11/07/2024.

Great Rubberbands - Great Bang for the Buck. - Reliable.
A friend of mine gave me a set of these. I used rubber bands for drawings at my office. I liked them so much that when I ran out I used the box and have to have more. For drawings these are perfect. They aren't breaking 8 months later. Nice and thick and just everything you could want in a rubber band. I even enjoy the color.

Buy for Color and Quality
They are expensive, so the reason you would choose them are for 1) Unique Bright Color and 2) Quality/Reusability. You'll pay more than double for Latex Free. Regular is around $4.50 per pound box of 425 versus $13.25 for 380 on Latex Free bands. (There's less per pound when going Latex Free.) Need the unique color? These do stand out. They are Orange, not red as appears in the amazon picture. Orange-Orange. Definitely orange. Orange also isn't typically sold, even in assorted. Great for identification, and also keeps people from stealing them (or knowing who's leaving them littered about.) Reusability. You pay more, but if you're using the same bands over and over they hold up better than regular rubber. My wife uses these as a postal worker so they see hard use and hold up much better than cheap regular bands. If you're just wrapping something once and shipping it off (don't care) then you'll probably want to go with a (much) cheaper product. "Size 64" / #64 rubber bands are what the post office uses. They are the perfect middle ground between skinny and fat bands and good for pretty much any use. These particular ones don't meet the government (GSA) standard (often referred to as "Postal Grade") because there are not enough of them per pound. (GSA requires 425.) They are superior in every aspect except weight. These bands are clean (don't come covered in powder). 4 stars. We love them because they last, and nobody dares steal them from her. The only complaint is price, but that's what you have to pay for Latex Free and in our experience they are not only better bands, but about the only way you get really unique colors.

Awesome Orange Rubber Bands
I work in an office environment of engineers. We have used #64 rubber bands for securing rolled up drawings and shooting at each other for years. So thinking of my kids, I decided to purchase some online, thinking what a handy item to have around the house, both for the kids to shoot at each other, and also the wife. Now this all happened back in 2022, and the rubber bands I received were kinda weak, in that when you would stretch them out, they sort of...died? Kinda like an insect that mates once and dies all in a matter of minutes. They just would lose all elasticity after you pulled them to their max. This really bummed me out. And I had like 300 of these things in the drawer. So I finally used them all up and bought these. They are orange, which means easier to find on the floor. They don't have a very powdery feeling to the texture. They feel less porous, very smooth and soft. They do have sort of an odor about them, but it's not that unfamiliar, just latexy I guess. Anyway these things so far bounce back great time after time and retain all of that potential energy. So much better than the other brand. I forget that brand's name, but don't worry, just get these.

tired of having your bands break?
Got these because in the location I'm at latex based rubber bands do not last. I don't know if it has to do with humidity or base line UV exposure. Works well, recommend

Excellent for Wrist-wear
Non-traditional rubber band user here. Not that I know what a traditional rubber band user is. Anyway, after I quit a certain bad habit which shall not be named due to insurance reasons (shockingly it was not feeding homeless pure-bread puppies), I had the constant urge to chew lots of gum and play with things with my hands. The Alliance Latex-Free Orange Rubber Bands, Size 64 3 1/2 inches x 1/4 inch REALLY fits the bill. I wear one on my right wrist every day! Pros: 1) Looks super awesome on my wrist - in style of the early/mid 00's Lance Armstrong-approved Livestrong bracelets. Philyodaddy tangent: Why do people still wear those things? That trend is deader than pogs. Yeah I get it you're supporting the health risk du jour, be it breast cancer, prostate cancer, or vaginitis. Super. Really changing the world. 2) Can be played with at work. I feel like I'm missing an obvious joke here. Moving on... I do take it off when I'm in meetings that require me to wear a suit, because I am a professional. 3) Very solid, these bands don't snap. And I work them hard. 4) If interested in wearing as a fashion accessory the 3.5 x .25 size is perfect, trust me I have tried lots of rubber bands for this purpose. 5) Orange is a great color. Go Mets/Knicks/Vitamin-C. Cons: None that I can think of. Probably made of carcinogens, but I'll continue to live in a blissfully unaware bubble. Pairing recommendation: Assorted 27mm Super Bouncy Balls - 250 Count

My favourite bands
I use these exclusively for holding my collection of card (and board) games lids/boxes together. Non marking and strong.

AWESOME QUALITY! GREAT COLOUR!
These are GREAT! Such a wonderful, vibrant colour. Very strong; the colour doesn't rub off, and the band doesn't fray.

Good value, tack, and stretch.
We use these rubbers bands on robots, to help assist with lifts and devices, as well as to add friction to surfaces. These function great, they don't have the strongest force, but they have a consistent force-stretch ratio, which is linear which means that it's super great for calculations. These rubber bands are all fairly identical within a batch, meaning that you can expect one to perform similarly to another in any scenario. They do crack and dry out after a few months of use, and do have a bit of a break in period (about a week of use), but after that they are super consistent until they start to dry out. These last a long time, and are a great value for what you get.

The Best Non-Latex Rubber Bands
I know that these are just rubber bands and I know that nobody is paying me for this review... but you have to believe me... I went through my whole life thinking that rubber bands are not something you need to buy as you can just collect them from here and there. Wrong. These are superior rubber bands. When you replace your old habits with these rubber bands you will never go back to living in such squalor. Every uniform rubber band assists you in your tying and clamping needs. Buy them in bulk so you never get caught without your rubber bands. These things are awesome. And they make great Christmas presents.
