Had a name brand maker of similar size that finally went out and not easily repaired - we got this unit which was much cheaper and have been quite pleased with the function and daily output. I could buy several of these for what my original cost and they perform the same.

1st unit made one batch of ice and stopped working after 4 hours. Replacement unit came damaged, appeared used and didnt work at all. Dont waste your money

Did not work out of the box , had to take it apart and connect a wire back onto the water flow solenoid for the hard line plug in side , was easier to fix then to send back cause it’s so big

Makes ice like nobodies business! There is a dump tray under the ice making grid that was rubbing on the rubber hose on the right side that goes down to the water pump. It was preventing the dump tray from popping back up so it could start on the next batch of ice. I was able to push the pump and hose with my finger over to the right side and fixed the problem. Wanted to mention it in case anyone else runs into the same issue. Makes different sized cubes which is nice! I still have to peel off the white plastic covering over the stainless but that looks nice too. Now everyone in the house can be ice hog’s and still have plenty of ice! Go smoothies and sugar free ice cream not stop!

DO NOT BUY!! Cheap china CR@P!! Got this in, let it sit for a couple days upright, hooked everything up except the water line, I am using the bottle. Did not come with everything, so I had to improvise. Turned it on, nothing...no pump running to fill with water....NOTHING! Yea panel lit up, turn it on, the ice symbol spun and the ice bucket flashed.....but nothing....congrats you got my money...I def am going to return this POS!! AGAIN DON NOT BUY!!!!!

Best ice maker for the price. We have replaced the ice maker in our fridge 3 time at $147.00 a pop. And that was 6 ice cubes at a drop. NOW we have all the ice we need.
