Merriam-Webster's French-English Dictionary

（いいところ） １．コンパクトで扱いやすい。辞書を引く面倒臭さが多少解消できる（わりと重要） ２．安い ３．ペーパーバックなので、ページがバラバラ取れたりしない（海外の辞書に多い） （もう少し頑張って欲しい点） １．例文がすくない。熟語、決まったフレーズももっと載せて欲しかった 本当はFrench/English のみの物が欲しかったのですが、他の辞書同様English/Frenchがついています。 English/Frenchをなくし、その分例文等を充実させてくれると最高だったのですが・・・ ただ使いやすいので、しばらく愛用することになりそうです。

Very helpful

This dictionary has been very helpful. It is perfect for someone who is new to the language. While apps and websites can be useful, this book provides a little extra that online resources often lack. Also, unlike the internet, it is fact checked to the highest standard. In addition to the standard dictionary, there is information on how to better understand the language, providing context for learning.

I have been wanting to learn French for a while and have had difficulty finding a good English to French dictionary to help. However this one is perfect. It has English-French translations AND French-English translations making it easier to understand what I am saying and what I am reading. It is easy to carry and isn't super big and heavy like most dictionaries. It also includes important French verbs and how to count to 100 and even included how to pronounce numbers like 1000 and 100,000. I would 100% recommend this to anyone trying to learn French. It is a great dictionary and I have used it so much. C'est très bien!!!

It is better french-english dictionary with IPA pronuncuation for both languages - English as well as French. But i think it should've contained more words from French - Informal, Colloquial, Slang, & other registers of French language

not bad. first half of the book is for French, the other for English. BUT I couldn't find some of French words in it.
