The metal spirals of wire that join the sides slip into place easily. Perhaps too easily.
For irregular surfaces, the sides must be continuously checked for square and plumb while filling with stone. The welds of the narrow gage wire should be treated somewhat carefully because they’re not especially strong. These served our purpose for a decorative feature.

This was a serious project, the planter is huge, it took 670 pounds of river rock.Overall we love it!
