Very solid, good design
Got this after using the more normal cheap ones, which tend to bend over time. But this is great really solid, think it will last much longer, really great design, our gate latches nicely now

Works great!
I needed a replacement for a complicated gate latch that I fought with every time I needed to open the gate. This design is just like the small ones you might see in the local hardware store, just somewhat larger and more substantive. I have installed this in place of the irritating latch, and am loving it! The bar fitting (gate side), has a 90-degree plate for attachment, which worked perfectly on the orientation of the 2x4 on the latch side of the gate (opposite the hinges). No chance of it loosening from use!
