Kentucky 31 K31 Tall Fescue Grass Seed by Eretz - Choose Size! State Certified, No fillers, No Weed or Other Crop Seeds (3lbs)

This grass seed did not disappoint! I had a bald spot in my yard and ordered thos seed to fill it in as well as a few other spots in the Spring ( my first time). I watered it daily after planting and am very pleased with the results! The grass started appearing after about 4 days. I am very happy!

I purchased my first last year in May but didn't have time to seed my lawn the entire year. I decided to wait for early this year but that too was not feasible. On the 19th this May, I decided to use a Scarifier Lawn Dethatcher. With a garden rake, I opened up the lawn, seeded, raked again and watered. A week long rain poured and I just watched patiently. Within just a week, I have germination. It is incredible. The seeds are just easy to spread, they come out looking pretty green filling up already. I am waiting to see how thick they will fill up my bald lawn. It looks like the previously small seeded ones are thicker in size so I probably should expect a thicker healthier look lawn this year and beyond. By the way, I bought another bag ready to overseed and also pull out the crab grass that wanted to overtake the lawn. Great product. Fast germination.

Overall quality of grass was good. Produced hardy rightly colored grass that is definitely drought and salt resistant. Decent price compared to more expensive coated seed. My only complaint in first year germination was about 50% with some areas thin. Seed when it’s cold as this grass will stay green but go dormant at higher temps if it hasn’t germinated yet. Second year it came in very heavy as all the dormant grass seed hardened and then germinated after winter.

Grew surprisingly well. I have tried a lot of different grass seeds and rarely have had such good results. It seems like all of it came up, and is still going strong a couple of months later. The true test will be the heat of the summer. I live in North Texas, a little north of Dallas and Ft Worth. I used this for filling in empty areas, as well as some overseeding. Most of the places where I put this are in partial shade by the way.

Great for replating or overseeding. I used for both applications and seems to be really pure seed no weeds in areas I planted. Would recommend over coated seed and seed with fertilizer. This is a pure grass seed that germinates well

I bought this same product last year and nearly all of it grew, but this year, I would say 5% grew. I would not recommend, perhaps it is old seed or something, but for me 95% of the grass seed did not grow!

It was okay. In my front yard it did well but I had to use 5 lbs for a small yard. In my back yard it didn't do very well. I followed all directions exactly and the results were okay. Maybe it varies per bag. I do like the color but the grass is okay in my opinion.

This is good grass seed. I use fescue to repair rabbit damage. I am writing a review after a couple years. If seeds come up then die it does not impress me. I look for the long term. The grass is beautiful. I have used other fescue that is mistaken for weeds. Like all grass seed that I have experienced it is hard to get started. I plant 4 or 5 times a year. some usually take. The rabbits don't like it. A 3lb bag is a lot. I don't like the price differential between 1 & 3 lbs.
