This is my favorite knife right now. It showed up quick and nicely packaged. The mirror finish is nice and it's very good looking piece. The damascus pattern and hammered finish create a slightly hazy look along the body of the knife. I'm just a home cook, and this knife looks nice and fits my needs.It is a medium to lighter chef's knife with balance dead on the bolster (see image). The handle is fairly well finished with no rough spots and a great fit for my 9in handspan. The clearance is good, the knife does great at larger rocking motion cutting with a fair amount of belly to the bkade. It slices nicely too. It has a surprisingly solid feel for the lighter weight and is delightful to cook with, it has a very controlled feel. Not a heavy bruiser of a knife.It arrived in an ok sharp state. I put a sharper edge on it, it was a little difficult to put a better edge on. Not sure if that was my skill sharpening or the metal itself needing more attention. I've been using it almost 3 weeks and the edge has not noticeably changed. I'm hopeful this steel holds up long term. It also cleans up very easily, nothing has gotten stuck to it yet.I can't imagine finding a knife near this quality in this price range. I feel I got an extremely lucky deal for this price. If the edge holds long term I can't find a bad thing to say about it. At 35$ I'm going to buy a few to give as housewarming gifts.

This knife has a very reasonable price, and it is really a great deal with such high quality of the steel. Also, this knife has a great balance and sharpness, as well as a really light weight. I have never had a knife that cuts through meats (fresh and frozen) and fruits with this ease. Highly recommend for this product!!! It is definitely my favorite knife right now. This is absolutely a great professional quality knife at an appropriate price. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Nice polish. Beautiful looking knife. Handle a little small making it hard to hold. Especially with g10 handle. Don't know why so may kitchen knives use g10 now. Blade got a small chip first time I used it. Took it out of my work lineup. Works well for home use.
