Works great for headphones & charging
With these types of items, it's difficult to know if it's going to be compatible, but this works with my Pixel 2 with no issues.

Five Stars
This pixel 2 headphone adapter works great for phones with no 3.5mm headphone jack. The sound is just as good or better than the USB C to 3.5 jack that came with the phone.

Failed to stay connected.
I am not sure if I got a faulty one, but right from the first use I noticed when I used it to just charge my phone it would connect for 6 seconds, disconnect, and then reconnect for another 6 seconds. This process happened over and over, and when you hook up head phones, they one, don't work every time you plug in, and two, when they did they would just disconnect every 6 seconds. I returned it and got a refund.

Worked only a couple of times.
Worked a couple of times for my pixel xl2. Then the metal case around the usb adapter came off. Then the metal case around the main adapter fell off. Not great but hey it still worked. Then a message on my phone said it was no longer compatible with this adapter and I can't listen to audio through it anymore. So it's just an expensive charging cable at this point.

WARNING: works intermittently in cold weather
I live in a warmer state (California) and use this in my car. When the weather dips below 40 degrees (Fahrenheit) in the mornings, this product does not work for about the first 5-minutes. On these cold mornings, the audio will not work and your phone will not charge as you hear a soft clicking sound. Once the clicking stops, your adapter will finally work normally again.I tried unplugging every cable on either end and even rebooting my phone. Only remedy for this issue seems to be waiting

Won't work on my Google pixel 2 xl
It won't play music through the adapter, but charges

Can not charge and play music at the same time...
After a few weeks it fell apart....can not use it while charging ....horrible electronic noise ..

Works with One Plus 6T
So far I haven't had any problems with this adapter. It works just as described. If you want to use the port to transfer data you must remove the adapter.
