Feel glamorous even when you're lounging. In the Glamour Scuff Slipper, you'll put your feet up in high style. This soft, buttery leather slipper with snakeskin print uppers begs to be touched and worn for as long as you can get away with relaxing. We love the contoured design and you'll love the Glamour Scuff Slipper's lightly padded footbed with a slight wedge heel. In 1881 Daniel Green, a young traveling shoe salesman for the Wallace Elliott Company in New York City, visited Dolgeville, New York. Daniel was shown a pair of felt shoes fashioned from waste pieces of piano felt which had been made in the Dolgeville Felt Mill. Daniel Green noticed that these felt shoes were worn by many factory workers to keep their feet warm and comfortable on the cold factory stone floors, and thus a legend in footwear was born.

UNCHANGED FOR DECADES LOVE IT
I've sworn by Daniel Green leather slippers forever.. more than 30 years. . they are still made of genuine soft leather ... and they last for more than a year, wearing them DAILY around the house... and I have even worn them out in the street. This latest pair i took to shoe repair for a thin rubber sole so that I can wear them outdoors like slip on sandals.... I will be back when this pair wears out

Uncomfortable
These are very cute but insanely uncomfortable. I would only recommend these if you have small, perfect little feet. The sizing is wonky. If you’re a 6 get a 7. But don’t recommend these as they are so uncomfortable.

Classic Brand, runs slightly small.
These are comfy and pretty and they do, as others have said, *eventually* stretch to size. It took weeks of wearing, though. I wish I had ordered 1/2 a size up. That said, glad for the heel & the pretty gold color, and I feel great wearing them.

The only house shoe that works for me
I read the reviews and saw that they ran small so I ordered one size larger and went with the wide width, they are perfect and I love them! They are so comfortable! I have to have a heel because it is painful to walk barefooted. No slippers were helping much and I tried ALL the ones that were suppose to help with. Wearing these I would not know I had a problem at all! I am thankful to Daniel Green because these are the only house shoes that help. I will eventually buy them in all colors for now I have the black and ivory and could not be anymore pleased in them. You do not miss the "fuzzy" of the classic house slipper plus these look much better when you have unexpected guess dropping by.*****update: My only complaint is that they do not last long, I reordered another pair exactly 5 months later. They are not made for even occasional walks outside to the mailbox. They have smooth leather sole and do not hold up walking on concrete. I do where these everyday with occasional alternating with another pair in a different color.

I'm so disappointed..........Not what I remember...........Absolutely Tragic!
So I read most of the reviews.......not all.........but most.........and I am still disappointed. Everyone said they run narrow and short???? My pair didn't! I am a true size 8 - regular width and I am embarrassed to admit, I have a bunion on my left foot too because I'm too scared to have surgery. So what did I do? I listened to everyone and ordered one size up and in wide width. Well hell to the NO! What did I get? I got a true size 9 - wide width pair of gold Clod Hoppers! WTH! My husband already thinks I'm nuts because I wanted a pair of slippers like my granny wore...you know....the ones we all used to walk around in as a kid and go clickity clack on the wood floors. That's not what I got...I got giant gold clod hoppers that don't go clickity clack on my wood floors. And mine also came with a big ol scuff mark on them.So ladies here's the truth.. I'm 5'5 - 175lbs - true size 8 foot in a boot, sandal, slipper, shoe. My feet are just plain old average like me. Get your true size if you have average width feet. If you have pudgie feet, you might want to go with a wide width but I'm thinking these things will stretch out. Don't expect to wear these everywhere you go. They are not made for that so put your flip flops back on. These are made for us to shuffle around the house just like our grandmothers do or in my case did.

Not as good as the original DGs
These didn't look like real Daniel Green house shoes. They looked generic and didn't last long. Not good enough for the money.

Just what the Doctor ordered!
I developed tendinitis in my Achilles tendon. The Dr. took me out of flats and recommended I wear wedge heels even in the house. I searched all over and finally found these lovely house slippers. I am so pleased with my purchase. The shoes do run small, as noted in previous surveys, so I ordered a whole size larger. I could have gone up a size and a half but after wearing the slippers a few days the beautiful and soft leather does stretch a bit and they are very nice. (I usually wear a 9 and ordered a 10)
