I am glad I found the great chicory root, no need to worry caffeine and also can drink at night but it has deep taste. also healthy for the gut, also good for people who has diabetes or constipation

Excellent product. I cannot drink caffeinated coffee, or decaf coffee. As well, I react when drinking grain substitutes (which contain barley). I brew it as a "pour over" and then add in one or two cardamom pods for extra flavour. Delicious!

I add this to my coffee for flavor and health benefits. I have tried a few different kinds of chicory: an instant powder, a sort of paste in a jar, and a couple brands of dried root like this. This one - specifically the organic in this brand - has the richest flavor and fewest random stems and sticks. The instant powder could not achieve the richness even when adding more powder. Its fine if you sweeten or flavor it or like it weak. The paste - made in Ukraine - was excellent for making a cup of straight chicory - needs a lot of stirring to dissolve. Since I mix mine with ground coffee, this is the easiest and has a good dark flavor.

Have been purchasing this product for a year or so now and it is great. Takes a little to get use to the taste, but I feel better using it every morning.
