Adding spice to my MND diet
As with most people with MND eating enough calories can become a bit of a challenge as can finding tasty nutritious food. I have used Huel drinks for some time. Thought I would try these to add a bit more spice to my diet. Great texture and taste. You can alter the consistency to your liking by adding a little more water, I actually add gravy.

Tasty gluten free lunch!
These are brilliant. Great for lunches everyday for me. Its best to buy the Huel pot to mix it in as it seems to hydrate better in that shape of container. I add a squirt of tomato puree for extra flavour. These keep my energy levels up and the chilli is gluten free so its my go to.

Not for me
This is my own personal view, and I would not recommend the Huel Hot and Savory pack (Mexican Chilli), although it had mouth tingling spicy flavours, the under lying flavours were not nice. These flavours were not balanced and could tell it was originally dehydrated and powdered. I had ensure I followed the instructions for preparation and gave it time to rehydrate, with the outcome as the sauce was smooth and the rice was soft, but I did not like or enjoy the dish flavours.

Dried food
Definitely handy to have if you're on a balanced diet or just having them in the back of the cupboard for backup. Very tasty!

Tasty for what it is.
Flavoursome as well as quick and simple to prepare. Took to Poland for a indoors competition and kept diet reasonably same thanks to these.

Tasty and well worth it
Really tasty as it is , but you can add stuff to it to make it really hearty, for example I like to roast vegetables and add them to this, also a bit of tomato purée, some smoked paprika.

Very good, given what it is
Dehydrated food is only ever going to be so good, so I am reviewing this in comparison to other dehydrated food I have used. On that basis, this is rather good. Easy to make, just add 200ml of hot water, stir and give it a few minutes. It looks pretty unpleasant, but the taste and texture is better than the appearance suggests. It does rely heavily on spice and it at least a two on the supermarket three-chili scale. Most food can be rescued with spice, and I suspect that without the chili this would be a much lesser experience. It is filling enough for a light lunch, and when I added some fresh fruit I was done until dinner. Would I eat this at home as a meal replacement? Probably not. But where it really scores is as a camping food supply, such as DofE, where you want maximum nutrition for minimum weight. I have tried a couple of dehydrate camping meals in the past and they were not nice at all. This Huel meal is head and shoulders above them. Overall I am giving this five stars, for being very good dehydrated food and for being an excellent camping option.

Nice and easy for a quick lunch.
Everyone’s tastes are different, but I really enjoyed this Mexican chilli flavour. I enjoy spicy foods, and this definitely ticked that box. The instructions say to add 200ml of water, stir, and loosely cover for 5 minutes. I found the rice still a bit hard, so next time I’ll try 220ml of water and leave it for nearer 10 minutes. I think as long as you’re not expecting it to be like a fresh, home-cooked chilli, you should enjoy it. I like the fact that I can get a quick, easy, and nutritious lunch for less than 400 calories.

Kaum Geschmack
Zutaten hab kaum Geschmack. Total überwürzt und selbst nach langem warten ist der Großteil noch nicht Steinhart. Ungenießbar
