This turned out to be too wide to fit over my lap, yet inside my chair arms. Might be better used on a bed or couch. However, the adjustments are problematic. You need to push in a button at the hinge, in order to adjust the angles, which is a bit awkward by itself and next to impossible with the laptop in place. My laptop kept slipping off the stand. Not sure if I'll be keeping it.

I love this!I've been working on my laptop from my bed for years now and have neck and arm issues because of the angle and looking down.I've been using this for several weeks, and it really helps my neck stay in a more neutral position, which results in less strain. It's very sturdy. You can set it to the side and not worry about it overheating or tipping over when you take a break.Easy to adjust.I use a variation of one of the recommended settings, and it's perfect for me!

I am going to use mine to hold books and to read maps in the passenger seat while we are traveling. It’s very light weight, but feels well-made. It’s a little tricky getting it into place the way you want it. I am thinking of marking the adjustment points with nail polish to make life easier in the future. It fits well in the passenger seat of my truck, and I’m going to put one arm under the seat belt and the other under the center consul for stability. It does not fit well on our RV theater seating couch. If I could make the armrest side shorter and balance it on the armrest, then it would fit. They recommend you do not use it that way.

Works as describe but a little more lightweight than expected. I use it for using my Chromebook in bed and on the couch. It keeps the heat of the device off of me which I love because the direct heat from my device makes me uncomfortable and anxious. I also like how it folds up for slim put away. So, happy overall, but feel that the price point is a little north.

My dad has surgery recently and he is in the bed most of the time this stand has helped him a lot, to do his work from home easily. It was relatively easy to put together and looks nice. It is adjustable for most uses. He is using this as breakfast, laptop and tablet table. Highly recommended.

I love this thing! It is perfect in so many ways. Being able to adjust it to several different heights makes it so useful in more ways than I thought I would need.I was tempted to get one with 4 adjustable sections...but the 3 are perfect and now thinking that if I got more it would be too much.

After only 2 months, the joint of left leg broke into peices. The plastic leg cannot hold the weight. Regret buying this

This portable stand is great in that it can be adjusted to fit many needs. I use it on a futon and suspend it over my legs so that my laptop does not have to be on my legs. There are holes drilled on the top portion so that your laptop or tablet can breathe. The only down side is that the shelf for the mouse has a bolt that comes loose so you must be careful not to lose it. The company I bought it from asked me for a screen shot of my PayPal account for a rebate which I am not going to do.
