No. There is something wrong with the product that fluctuates output regardless of the setting it's on. You can hear it speed up and slow down in every fan setting. The fan setting just seems to limit total potential output. Even in sleep mode within a quiet room, I can hear it randomly increase air speed for no reason at all. Amazon is also not allowing negative reviews right now, which I can only assume is part of a paid promotion of the product.

can this fan be cleaned

It can be wiped down and vacuumed but I purchased what they called a filter from Pollen Tec on Amason. SKU was HW_TF_HYF260B it also fits the 290Bmodel. ASIN: is B07CG3WJG3. It's a thin cover that fits around the fan. You can vacuum the cover with your soft brush attachment and is hand washable, air dry. Effective at filtering airborne pollen dust, mold spores, and pet dander. A little pricey but if it keeps the fan clean and lasting longer a good investment.
