These are such high quality roof racks. First impression while unpacking it is that they nicely had everything wrapped and protected. I've purchased a ladder rack for my truck from this company before and went back to them for this roof rack because of that experience. They are super easy to assemble and install. They fit any van with a rail system. The value for everything you get is great. I love that each bar has feather points on both sides as well as those convenient stops that you can move up and down the bars to hold anything you can think of. I couldn't recommend more!

I really wanted to like this product. It seems well made, the extrusions were clean, a good selection of accessories included but it suffers from a fatal flaw I could not find a solution to. The brackets used to attach the rack to the roof of my Transit van could not be sealed in a way to prevent water penetration. The supplied installation components provide no sealing option at all, nor is any mentioned in the installation guide. The two pieces that sit against the van roof are 'U' shaped with elongated holes where the bolts go through. When you remove the protective cap to access the mounting point in the van you open up a 1 inch diameter hole. The brackets do not cover the hole, and even if they did the 'U' shape allows water to get in anyway. There are two carriage bolts, the heads of which protrude thru the bottom of the bracket, preventing this inner 'U' bracket from sitting flush to the roof of the van. Short of a butcher job with silicon or buytl to try and cover up the numerous openings it is not sealed. This is totally unacceptable...water getting in will quickly cause rust...or in our case it's a camper van so water in the roof would be a disaster. Melipron customer service was responsive but did not understand the problem. They asked me to send pictures...which I could not do since if I installed the rack I could not return it. This rack might work for some applications...but if you own a Ford Transit van I would stay away. I suppose if it's a work van a huge blob of sealant around each bracket might not be the end of the world...but for a camper van, besides being unsightly, the risk of water damage is just too great. UPDATE: I sent the three cross bar model back and kept shopping. Looking at the two cross bar model - the product images showed a different mounting system so I gambled and ordered it. Well - it uses the exact same arrangement as the three bar model despite the clearly different images - sad...and misleading. I really want to love this rack - so many positive comments. So I reached out to Melipron Support again and this time got a reply stating an error in the install guide has been corrected - here is the new procedure. It appeared to me it would still leak but went for it anyway. Sure enough after a few summer storms there was water in the roof of the van. Can't imagine what winter rains would do. By this time the return window was closed so I was stuck with it. After much pondering I realized if I reversed the orientation of the brackets I could get a tight seal against the roof. So I went ahead and did this. Not quite as sturdy as before but will easily hold a solar panel and my kayak without issue. The Melipron folks are probably not happy about me doing this!! I used some 1/4" rubber sheet to make gaskets to go between the brackets and the roof, and used a small bead of buytl on both sides around the bolt holes. Some blue thread lock compound on all the threads for safety. A good soaking with the garden hose - no leaks!! I've attached a few pics to show what I did. Has anybody else had this issue?? Can't believe it's never happened to anyone else.

These are super easy to put on a Ram promaster. The only thing you really need to know if you do not put on the long rubber Chanel inserts. The roof rack sounds like you have a vent open sucking wind. It is loud enough to be annoying as hell. Once the rubber Chanel inserts are put on place no more noise. Just thought I'd let you know that.

Do yourself a favor and get these . They work great. Easy to install
