Contains the active ingredient, 5 percent benzoyl peroxide, which is clinically proven and effectively kills up to 95 percent of spot-causing bacteria. In addition, it contains 'AC microsphere technology' which helps absorb excess oil while releasing glycerine to hydrate the skin. Ingredients Ingredients: Hydrous benzoyl peroxide equivalent to benzoyl peroxide 5% w/w. Other ingredients: docusate sodium, disodium edetate, poloxamer 182, carbomer 940, propylene glycol, acrylates copolymer, glycerol, Colloidal anhydrous silica, sodium hydroxide, and purified water. Directions Apply once or twice daily to cover the affected skin areas. Wet the area to be treated, apply the preparation to the hands and wash the affected area with the gel. Contact time with the skin should be 1 to 2 minutes followed by thorough rinsing with water and drying. When using Acnecide benzoyl peroxide treatments for the 1st time, or after a long break, it is important to read the instructions for use before using Acnecide. **Q: Is it vegan?**
A: There are no animal derived ingredients in the Acnecide Face Gel or Face Wash Gel formulations. As these products are licensed consumer medicines, and the formulation will, by law, have been tested on animals a long time ago at their creation. However as there has been widespread use of these medicines over many years, there is now an established safety profile and evidence base, therefore animal testing has not been required on this medicine for a long time. **Q: Do I need to wash this off after applying it to my face?**
A: This is a face wash with benzoyl peroxide which exfoliates the skin.

**Q: Does this dry your skin out like the acnecide cream does?**
A: It doesn’t with me. But all skins are different. Mines sensitive. I wet my face massage some wash in and leave it on the skin for only 2 minutes only then rinse it off. It’s not as drying as the acnecide cream as you rinse it off. Acnecide cream is left on the skin. I find this better on my skin. Hope that helps
