I use fountain pens almost exclusively and usually use 14 kt nibs. Conklin is one of my favorite reasonably priced, not high end, brands and I like Conklin nibs. This is a beautiful pen. If the price doesn't give you pause, get It as an elegant gift for people who like fountain pens -- or for yourself.

Classy and thirsty
This is a BEAUTIFUL pen. I love it and it for sure creates conversations. I have a broad nib and that thing is a very wet writer. So be aware depending on what paper you use.
