I originally was using a flymo that was similarly priced. I would have been faster using a goat. The handle on the flymo was also so flimsy it kept bending on me making the whole ordeal a pain. My garden is a lump of soil - no flat bits anywhere and sloped - but fairly small. A right pain to cut, so I tend to make things a lot harder by putting off cutting the grass until the pain of cutting it becomes less than my embarrassment in its state. If I manage to cut it three times myself this year, this mower will pay for itself over paying for a professional to come do it for me (£40 a pop). This mower handled my garden perfectly. A few days later and I dont need to go back out and get the nits that spring back up. It's lightweight to handle the slope and the adjustable angle of the handle allows to make this comfortable. Changing from a hover mower meant I did initially make a mistake, this cuts going forward, try cutting pulling it backwards and you will iron the grass instead. Adjusting the cutting height on this is amazingly easy. Use the gear stick and you can alter cut height in seconds. Being normal, I was truly hoping the mulch function would remove the need to rake afterwards, but alas, this is not a mulch function rather its a return the cuttings to the lawn. I was disappointed but not surprised. It would take a much bigger wallet to get a true mulching cutter. If your mower has flap that closes if you don't fit the basket then that's going to do roughly the same thing. So this mower is worth every penny, I managed to cut my grass in one go, previously I would need to take a break halfway through. Sorting it away is great as it stands up on its end with a well designed couple of legs. In folded mode the handles do feel very loose, almost about to fall off but I am sure this is not going to be an issue. This even managed to cur over the edge of my paving slabs without hitting them. It does need pairing up with a strimmer though as it wont get up close and personal on borders against walls. It will get closer than most. Buy this if you want a good mower to cut grass. Don't buy based on a dream that you wont need to rake up cuttings, it should not claim mulching as a feature. Next time I will use the basket and see if that works better. best value mower I could find.

Husband says it’s a good mower, seems to cut well and the height adjuster is easy to use. Easy to assemble and fold when not in use. Big wheels work well over our uneven garden and not too heavy.

I was a bit dubious at first with it not being one of the main lawnmower brands but decided to give it a try. Didn't need to worry as it's a good mower that cuts well

its good for a medium sized garden... the lawn mower has a few cutting sizes so you can give your lawn a buz cut close to the ground...also its a nice size not too big and you can store it away easily... I have had it a while now...hence why I have written the review later and the lawn mower still is working well as it should do, so glad I did buy it...

Original review is below however after 12 months of using the mower it broke but was still under warranty, I sent it off to be fixed with great difficulty, customer service was poor and they have refused to repair it under warranty stating it has struck something, the only thing it has struck is grass, this makes it not fit for purpose. They tried to charge me to return it, however eventually agreed to send it back but when it has arrived back it has come back in pieces. Do not buy this mower it’s not fit for purpose and will be very expensive for the short time that you can use it. After reading some of the other reviews I nearly didn’t buy this mower however I’m glad that I did. I purchased this to replace a flymo rollermo which kept clogging up and wouldn’t cut properly and I’m so glad that I did. I purchased this around 6 months ago and there is no complaint yet. The mower cuts the grass as expected and doesn’t leave any of the cuttings on the lawn, the lever to change the height of the cut is seamless and easy to use. I’d say my garden is about 15ft by 25ft and the mower is more than sufficient to cut the lawn even if it was bigger it would still do the job, yes I use an extension lead however that’s expected. I haven’t used the mulching tool yet. I was concerned from reading the other reviews about cutting the grass when it was wet and quite long towards to autumn, I must say that it cut fine, did not struggle to cut the grass and collected it all, my grass is quite thick like a meadow so it performed as expected. The mower folds small and can be stored vertically so it fits in smaller spaces that a normal mower wouldn’t fit in creating extra space. I would recommend for anyone looking to get a new mower to replace a fading one or one that just doesn’t cut it.

I have a 80 ft long garden which has been neglected for years under previous ownership. Really like the easy gear stick for changing the height of the cut - it’s so easy. It was also very easy to assemble when it arrived. I like the big, collapsible grass collecting basket. (Had too often empty it.). My lawn is very much an up and down lawn (if you can call it a lawn,) but it coped very well. It doesn’t look too plasticky either. A big 10/10 for being 100% suitable for small people to use easily. I’m 5ft 2 in and it was so easy to use! Another reviewer said a big minus was there were not any spare blades you can buy but I have googled it and quite a few for sale came up. (The instructions do tell you how to remove yourself if you want to sharpen it though) . Instructions also advise that if the mower has hit a foreign object and damaged the plastic blade boss adapter, then the two plastic lugs may have sheared off. That this can be purchased via the Hyundai Power Products Team I searched online and various blades came up, from £14.00 upwards on different sites. So yeah, only used the once but so damned happy we replaced the petrol mower with this. NB we kept the electrical lead (plugged into an extension lead) over our left shoulder, for safety’s sake . Tbh, I rate a decent electric mower anyway over a petrol one, with all the hassles it entails, (emptying after each use is one such hassle).

This lawnmower has great looks, but it sadly appears to struggle with longer grass. The motor seemed to overload when cutting my lawn, grass around 2-3 inches high. It should have been easy to put together, but I had some difficulty after using it. I could not get mine to stand as indicated. It has several cutting heights, which is good. It has a 1600-powered electric engine, which should be more than enough for most lawns. It does appear fast enough, but it again appeared to struggle with longer grass. The cost from Amazon was £119, so not expensive. It's a good-looking grass mower. My worry is for the 2-year guarantee. No Receipt, in the box, which is needed if you need help from the makers during the guarantee period. Overall, a decent mower, slightly let down by appearing to struggle with longer grass. a decent 7-10.

This is an excellent lawn mower for the price. Maybe not that surprising given the reputation of Hyundai products but it is a strong mower and the mulching function is a a great addition. Highly recommended.
