After I grew out my hair to half my back I went and bleached it blonde again from dark blonde, and unfortunately as it so often happens we didn’t want to push it and it was a bit orange and my hair oxidized and became SO orange / yellow / brassy and the toner from the salon really didn’t take. My stylist recommended I do this before my next appt so we don’t have to rebleach hair so close together. I did this for about ten minutes after shampoo and left it on and it really toned down a lot of the orange. After that I shampooed and k18 and conditioned etc full abbey yung method. Next wash day I will do the same but I will leave it on for a lot longer. Probably up to 30-40 minutes. Unsure why it was turning peoples hair green, maybe it was a reaction with previous hair dye in their hair. If your hair is bleached and not colored I think you’ll be fine.
