I used pearl blonde before, and it was great for a subtle toning. After I grew out my hair to half my back I went and bleached it blonde again from dark blonde, and unfortunately as it so often happens we didn’t want to push it and it was a bit orange and my hair oxidized and became SO orange / yellow / brassy and the toner from the salon really didn’t take. My stylist recommended I do this before my next appt so we don’t have to rebleach hair so close together. I did this for about ten minutes after shampoo and left it on and it really toned down a lot of the orange. After that I shampooed and k18 and conditioned etc full abbey yung method. Next wash day I will do the same but I will leave it on for a lot longer. Probably up to 30-40 minutes. Unsure why it was turning peoples hair green, maybe it was a reaction with previous hair dye in their hair. If your hair is bleached and not colored I think you’ll be fine. At least for me it was great.

My hair is naturally dry and I have highlights, so I look for products that add moisture without making my hair heavy. This conditioner worked well for that. The texture is smooth and easy to spread, and it rinses clean without leaving a coating. After using it, my hair felt softer and looked shinier, especially in the highlighted sections that usually look dull. The shine lasts a couple of weeks, and it doesn’t make my hair greasy. A good option if your hair needs moisture and a little boost in brightness.

It’s blue, so it’s basically the same as using blue shampoo. I didn’t notice any special conditioning properties. In fact, my hair seemed more dry afterwards.

Stained my tub bright blue and the color on my tub lasted much longer than what it was supposed to do for my hair! I feel like this worked a bit in lessening the brassiness of my highlights, but it did not last more than a few days at best. It is more labor intensive (not including the tub cleaning labor) than using a purple shampoo with about the same results. I was hoping for something that would allow me to extend my time between salon visits as it claims to do. But, this is not it. Looks like I will be a "shimmer lights" girly forever.

Love this product tones my hair so good exactly how it is described

I got this on sale for around €11 during Prime day. I bought the purple one for blonde highlights. It really works. I’m genuinely surprised at how nice the results are. I used it the day before an event (risky!) and it did neautralize the brassiness in my hair. I also got 2 separate compliments on my hair at the event. People said it looks very soft. Overall, it does what it says on the tin. I have a lot of hair so I used 2/3 of the container in one application. One tip I can give if, after shampooing, brush your hair out so the product can apply to each strand evenly.

Worked on brassy balayage

It did tone down the brassy tones in my hair but my hair was left dry and very tangled. Maybe it's not ideal for curly hair.

I didn't notice much with this one, it left my hair lovely, soft and shiny but I didn't notice much with the colour. That said, underneath everything my hair is likely mostly grey on top, so colour, whatever that may be, can tend to look flat so I doubt it's the product. I've seen other people's results and it looks lovely, sadly this wasn't the case for me but I think that's my hair, not the products fault. The pump bottle is super easy to use and much cleaner than my previous tube forms. I would try a different colour and see if that offers any benefit. I'm frequently dying (/covering grey roots!) so I'm sure the opportunity will arise!
