Nakamichi Is Next Level 🤯 - Off the chain amazing! I am completely in love with this system and honestly don't know how I ever lived without it. If you are watching video reviews online, let me tell you right now: the videos do not do the sound justice. I only have the volume set at 12, and the audio is crystal clear. The dual 10" subwoofers deliver a thumping bass that I can literally feel through my soul—even from outside my house! When watching movies, the surround sound makes you feel like you are standing right inside the scene. When switching to music (set to 5 speakers), the sound stage is completely immersive and sounds incredible with music videos. This is hands down the best money I have ever spent. A few other highlights from my experience: • Flawless Delivery: The shipping was right on point. The packaging was incredibly secure and well-designed to protect everything inside. • Easy Solo Setup: I am a female and put this entire massive system together all by myself. I plugged everything in, and it synced up instantly and perfectly. • Out-of-the-Box Perfection: I haven't changed a single factory setting yet because it sounds literally perfect right out of the box. • Elite Customer Service: The company reached out to me several times just to check in, ensure I was happy, and see if I had any trouble. Nakamichi is reliable and on top of their game. I bought this on March 29, 2026, and wanted to wait a few months to give an honest, long-term review. After months of testing, I can confidently say I am in love. If you are on the fence, just buy it! Review: If your considering the Soundwafe please read!! - As genX I grew up in audio and even had a car audio business. So I won't go so far as to call myself an audiophile however I've built and tuned enough that I can do it by ear. All that is to say this is not a system for dummies. No offense but this system is good out of the box BUT with now s few weeks of tuning the system I have have a fantastic well rounded system. The system has memory presets and thank God it does! I have my Movie mode as one and Music mode for the other. All channel stereo sounds great on older music and I use movie mode for more modern engineered music. The 2 subs pack a punch. I've noticed that placement is important and I primary use the 150hz setting for the crossover. They deliver on the lows with authority and to be honest I keep them turned down for music. I do turn up the subs for Movies and gaming. Setup is easy and the wifi connection to the unit is why I picked it over the Dragon. Honestly I have regrets. It has a ton of power and the highest I normally use for volume is 15 when 10 is a solid theater mode. I've cranked it up one and it delivered at very high volume and with authority the low didn't let up or soften the highs and mid sounded great. Don't be intimidated the system sounds good out of the box. But if your not one to shy away from enjoying and listening to the system I'd say get it learn it and enjoy it. I am!!! PS Idk why the stands are so expensive 😫 seems like a missed opportunity by Nakamichi because I found some bookshelf brackets that hold 50lbs and still look great and they were under $40 here on desertcart ## Features - BLACK FRIDAY SPECIAL, WHILE SUPPLIES LAST @ $1677 (save $822). I previously had a Samsung 2.1 channel sound bar and was always getting complaints about not being able to hear anything or any details, especially voices. Even when the soundbar was turned up to 70+, it felt like it didn’t really get louder past 50, but just noisier and you could hear the static. I took a chance on this nakamichi soundwafe and was beyond impressed. The set up is easy, no issues at all with connectivity. It is pretty much plug and play unless you want to fine tune the system, in which case there’s an app that helps you and a manual that covers the remote functionality very well. Once I was up and running, my oh my, the sound was clean, loud and provided a movie theater like experience. I love that the soundbar tells you what type of audio is being passed to it (Dolby atmos, stereo, surround, etc). I use this with my Nvidia shield and it has significantly enhanced my movie watching experience. Volume 3 is perfect, I went up to 10 and it was loud and it felt like the system could be comfortably pushed even further producing clean sound. One last thing I’ll mention is the customer service. It is the best I’ve ever seen, they’ve reached out several times to ask me how things have been going. Replied to every message I’ve sent and even has a concierge support that has a live person on the other end of the phone (I called on a Sunday Night). Amazing product and even better customer service. Worth every penny. ## Frequently Bought Together - Nakamichi Shockwafe 11.2.6 Channel Dolby Atmos/DTS:X Soundbar with Upgraded Dual 10” Subwoofers, Wireless Bipolar Surrounds, 6 Height Channels, AHD Ultra, 31 Punktkilde Drivers (2025 Flagship) - Zeskit Certified 2.1 8K HDMI Cable 48Gbps 4K120Hz Compatible with Soundbar eARC HDR10 VRR Dolby Vision Atmos HDCP 2.2 & 2.3 Gaming PS5 Xbox Series X Apple TV Roku Monitor (Ultra High Speed Maya 6ft) - Nakamichi Dragon and Shockwafe Wireless Surround Speakers Wall Mounts (Set of 2) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/736056704-nakamichi-shockwafe-11-2-6-dolby-atmos-dtsx-surround-soundbar](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/736056704-nakamichi-shockwafe-11-2-6-dolby-atmos-dtsx-surround-soundbar) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
