This is a neat accessory that I didn't know that I would need until I used it! Out of the box, the controls are fairly as there's a single multi-function button that controls the power on/off, lighting effects, and fan speed. By default, the overclock fan speed is the first that comes on when you first power up the fan and the rainbow lighting effect is the default lighting effect. You can single click the button to switch between the fan speeds and double-click the button to switch the lighting effects. The overclock fan speed is loud and noticeable, while the normal fan speed isn't as loud and the "silent" fan speed is noticeably quieter (than the overclock speed setting). The real magic happens when you install the companion app and connect the cooler to the app! You can access a variety of lighting effects as well as setting the fan speeds and a few other functions not accessible out of the box. The cooling performance itself seems to work. It works like any other fan, drawing in air and blowing it out through vents. I used this outside on a hot, sunny day and I did not experience any shutdowns or overheating warnings. The unfortunate part is that you need to be tethered to a cable and a power source (power bank or power adapter) in order for the fan to work. This kind of limits its usage as it requires multiple components to work properly. You do get an additional benefit in that the cooler can double as a phone stand (for viewing in landscape only). Oh, one more thing - please invest in a right-angle USB-C cable - it will make using the fan cooler so much easier 😉

I am unable to find the app for this so I cant access the features I paid extra for. Customer Service has been silent about my request.

I've bought multiple Black Shark coolers and they've all fit different use-cases and are solidly built with great performance for my needs every time. This particular cooler is no different. Cooling Performance: The Black Shark FunCooler 6 does an excellent job keeping my phone temperature under control during longer, lighter gaming sessions. I noticed a significant drop in heat within just a few minutes and it's helped prevent lag and performance throttling on my phone. The magnetic attachment is strong and solid, making it very easy to snap on my phone and removal a cinch. It works especially well for my mobile gaming which is when my phone usually heats up quickly. I've also used it mitigate the heat on my phone while it's fast-charging as well. Value for Money: For the features and performance, this cooler offers great value for me. The lighting and app controls give it that premium Black Shark feel and the build quality is solid. This black shark cooler stands out because of how effective and portable it is. It’s a worthwhile investment if you spend a lot of time gaming or using demanding apps on your phone or tablet and need to mitigate any heat. Noise Level: One of the best surprises was how quiet the fan is during use. Even at higher cooling settings, the noise stays low enough that it doesn’t become distracting while gaming, watching videos, or chatting with friends. It provides powerful cooling without sounding overly loud or annoying, which makes the overall experience much more enjoyable. This is another solid Black Shark cooler for me that I can use in my future mobile gaming endeavors and can recommend!

This thing looks cool and it CHILLS in seconds. It defaults on first use to Overclock mode, but can be put to normal mode and it remembers the last setting on restart. On overclock, it chills through jeans quickly and you can feel it on skin. It even gets a small thin layer of condensation. Normal mode still can cool the back of you neck and not get warm. Both of these are fairly loud but depending on your activity, it's obnoxious and can be ignored. The silent option is just that, it's silent but still seems to cool. Unforunately, no information on how much cooling each mode supports. The button to change modes is on the top and not the side which is nice for that extra bit of force to click and the LEDs are BRIGHT. It is built well and feels like good quality. It requires 27w power supply though so you won't be powering this off the mobile device itself likely but otherwise, plug it in, attach it, and it's that simple. Unfortunately, this is where the good ends. I have tried other products and liked them. They are a little expensive but usually the better ones in the price bracket and they aren't much different from other options when price is concerned. With that said, for the price, this product and the features surrounding it should be better. Let's start with the accessories and companion app, there is no metal ring included. For the price, thiss seems like such a cheap thing to include and not make people spend more money on them. Most other accessories just include one or two and they are much cheaper. The companion app? Not available on the Android App Store. They have you download it from their site and it gets sideloaded, which requires additional configuring that I wouldn't recommend for just any user. They have it available on the iOS App Store so I am confused why they wouldn't have it available on Android's. I did not download it on Android. I did get it on iOS and it's a good looking app, though basic. It doesn't offer much that the device itself doesn't do via the button. Functionally, it's a little thicker than a wireless version I have from them and that was already a bit thick to handle while on the phone. With this one, it is less wide but it also exhausts warm-hot air on both sides of the device so it will be warming your hands as you hold the phone, this can get uncomfortable for extended periods, it was already getting noticable with 5 minutes of use. Something extra that I found a bother, the info sticker with model, instructions (what button does) and other info is on a removable protective film you have to remove before use. I understand this can't be a sticker on the unit as it would make cooling not work, however, the bottom is made of a rubber material they could have screened onto it. This is information that is useful. With all these things, I had to remove a couple stars. It does work really well and doesn't require the app so if you can get over the warm air or won't be holding the phone while using, it's a great option.

First note about this is that the device does not charge your phone just in case you are wondering. It will take up your magsafe slot so you will need to charge via wire. The device does an okay job with keeping your phone cool. This device does require it to be plugged in to power the fan so it is not wireless. It is a durable device. It is bulky and does add thickness and weight to your phone. Unfortunately it does not do well on cases that do not have a magnet on it. It does not come with any tape on magnet piece for your case. That means the thickness of the case can keep the magnet from connecting. I do like having this so i can game on my device while i have it plugged in. It can be a bit noisy and at max setting you can actually feel a little bit of the vibrations. This functions well and the rgb lights are not super bright or distracting. It can stand your phone up but you have to alter the wire. It is a bit pricy for not being a charger and nothing other than a fan. It exhaust the air well. Unfortunately I cannot really take this on the go as if needs external power. It does keep my phone cooler as I am gaming while charging on my wall charger. The wire provide is a simple type c cable. Overall I think this device is a cool concept but it is a bit pricey for something that does not charge. It is pretty strong in terms of fan speed. The rgb lights are cool but nothing too bright or overwhelming. It fits most phones but mostly works for iPhone without a case as android does not really have magsafe.

This thing actually works really well !! First time using a magnetic cell phone cooler and wish I discovered it sooner!! If you ever play mobile games on your phone, or even just do heavy workflow (browsing with netflix or youtube running picture in picture), or even quick charging your phone, it can get quite toasty. Heat is the biggest enemy and causes shortened battery life and reduced performance. This mag cooler works really well!! Your phone will need a Mag Safe or QI Magnetic charging ring capacity. If using on an older phone, you can buy a magnetic ring adhesive to add that function, but due to the thickness of the adhesive (even 2mm), you wont get a perfect seal so performance wont be optimal, but its still better than nothing It doesn't come with a USB C cable, which is stated on the description. You need to provide your own cable and it's recommended to use with >20W charging block for the best performance. It does glow with RGB lights, which I personally dont care for - fortunately, there is an App that you can download to turn off the LEDs. It pairs via bluetooth. The fans have 3 settings, by default it turns on with the highest -performance mode, which does sound audibly. It' not loud, but noticeable. The other two settings are normal, and silent. Now onto the cooling, it feels like you just took something out of the refrigerator. I was shocked how cool the mounting plate gets. It definitely works. Overall, I'm really happy with the product.

finde den Kühler sehr gut. der Magnet hält sehr gut am MagSafe. Für alle die kein MagSafe haben, ist ein Magnetischer Aufkleber dabei, der mit der magnetischen Seite bereits am Kühler klebt. der Lüfter ist im Silence Mode wirklich sehr leise, ich musste den Lüfter erstmal an das Ohr halten um zu schauen ob er auch funkioniert. Im Normalen Modus ist der aber hörbar. zwischen den beiden Modi kann mittels eines kleinen Knopfes am Gerät selber umgeschaltet werden. bis das Gerät richtig runter gekühlt ist dauert es im Silence Modus ca. 5-10 Minuten. das Smartphone mit Lüfter sollte aber nach Möglichkeit nicht in eine Tasche gesteckt werden. irgendwohin muss die Abwärme ja. die App hab ich mir spaßeshalber auch mal Installiert, brauchen tut man sie nicht unbedingt außer man will das RGB verändern. Ansonsten die die App (Black Shark im AppStore) sehr einfach gehalten, man kann das RGB verändern oder zwischen den beiden Modi wechseln, welches aber über den Knopf ebenfalls möglich ist. die App ist auf englisch. das einzige wo man aufpassen sollte, eine ausreichend große Powerbank dabei haben. Mir hat es bei einer 20000mA in ca. 2 Stunden die hälfte verbraucht !Achtung! es wird kein Ladekabel mitgeliefert - Anschluss ist USB-C

Hatte vorher den FunCooler 4 Pro mit dem ich sehr zufrieden war. Dieses Modell hier ist eine Katastrophe. Viel zu teuer, Kühlleistung mangelhaft und über die App wäre theoretisch nur die Intensität und RGB einstellbar WENN es denn funktionieren würde; tut es nicht… Ich rate klar vom Kauf ab

今年は早くも夏場、真夏日の予報が続いているので、初めてスマホクーラーを購入しました。 良い点: 冷却性能がかなり高い。驚きました。炎天下の中での使用でしたが、装着した箇所はかなり冷えており、氷などをそのまま貼り付けたのかと思うくらいです。 悪い点: 電力消費は流石に大きいかなと思いました。 特に私はポケモンgoを遊ぶのですが、モバイルバッテリーで10000mAhのものでも少し心元なかったので、倍の容量のモバイルバッテリーの購入を検討しています。 また、派手なゲーミングLEDをオフにするために専用のアプリが必要で、このアプリがかなり中華感が強いので、少し使用を躊躇いました。 結局ダウンロードして使っていますが、今のところ目立った不具合などはありません。 なお…当方、iPhone Airを使用中でして、この機種は熱がCPUなどが集積している本体上部に集中しやすいのですが、この製品をMagSafeな装着して冷却した際、明らかに本体温度が下がりましたので、効果があるみたいです。 近い構造の17Proでも同様かと思いますので、情報共有致します。
