8歳の男児誕生日プレゼントに送ったら大興奮です。 付属の虫メガネで様々な石を観察したり石を並べたりしています。 うちは特に観察する事などが好きな子供ですが子供のころの自分もキレイな石を見たり集めたり好きだったので子供はだいたい石が好きだと思っています。 付属の巾着袋以外に自分で用意した巾着袋に気に入った石を入れて寝る時も枕の下に敷いて寝て起きてすぐに石をうっとり眺めています。 付属内容も申し分ないと思いますが値段だけ見ると高価かな？しかし内容と子供の喜び方や食いつきっぷりを見ると本当に良い買い物をしました。

The book is wonderful. The kids love to peruse through it and learn about the different gems. The gems that came with it are tiny pieces. I think I would rather have medium sized or large pieces. However it was adventurous for the children to try to figure out which gem was which in the book. It’s just hard to sort and store them because there’s so many. It’sa great bale for what you get. The book itself is great.

As a longterm customer of National Geographic, the rock collection and book was a perfect gift for a young person who’s interested in geology.

Purchased as a gift for my teen. Stone are awesome quality and vibrant in color. Small size and they can get lost. Fun gift for any child interested in rocks or the earth.
