Socket too small for 17 mm ball mounts
Ok, good product EXCEPT the socket is slightly too small. I checked the ball mount I have with a caliper and it's exactly 17 mm as it should be. The socket is probably a hair under 17 mm on this which makes it an extremely tight fit and difficult to adjust. The threaded ring is at risk of being cross threaded as another reviewer pointed out. I will return it.

Great MagSafe Mount That Won't Scratch Your Case
This MagSafe mount was one of the best purchases I've made for my car. I got tired of typical MagSafe mounts scratching my phone case and decided to give this one a try. I'm glad I did. The material used on the mounting surface is much gentler on my case, and I have yet to notice a single scratch from using it. The magnetic hold is solid, and it has worked exactly as expected. If you're concerned about your phone case getting scratched by other MagSafe mounts, I would definitely recommend giving this one a chance.
