A fine bookend that holds up some of my heavier larger books!This gets a four versus five star because to improvements could be madeFirst it would be good for shelving protection if the entire bottom had felt or cork padding in particular the edges while rounded or middle and can scrape woodSecond if I take out more than one book that is at the end of the bookend and on it, the stand and can lean - a short piece of metal on the opposite side of the horizontal piece would correct thatJust some suggestions..
