Review: Pulls up stuff left behind by Dyson! - I’ll try to keep this brief. Got the Dyson ball vac. It’s Dyson, right? What could be better? Well, this Bissell is better! The Dyson is IMPOSSIBLE to pull across carpet, even low pile carpet. So… I dragged the Dyson over my shag area rug section by section and got a workout I really didn’t need or want. It was frustrating and exhausting. There is no way I want to struggle like that every time I do housework. Just ran the Bissell over the same shag rug (and my cat has been staying at my daughter’s so there should be very little to pull up after the Dyson episode) and LOOK! I was momentarily worried it was going to be a problem to push as well, but it turns out it was just a learning curve and not the vacuum trying to permanently affix itself to the rug via overly intense suction. Super easy and effective on low pile carpet and bare floors. Super long cord is really nice to have and the auto rewind is a fantastic bonus. Very happy and highly recommend!

**Q: Does it stand up on its own**
A: Yes.

**Q: How does this work on wood floors? Can you turn off the brush?**
A: I believe you can not turn off the brush, but you can adjust the heigth so it wouldn’t touch the floor. I’ve been using it on wood floors and it’s fine.

**Q: The video shows a woman using the vacuum with no sign of the cord. Is it awkward vacuuming with the cord on the right side?**
A: If you look at the video closely ya can see the cord behind the vacuum, and she is holding it behind her also.
Me being a lefty I have no problems with it and my wife loves it also.

**Q: I would like to know if this has a hepa filter? I’ve seen several community answers that say yes and no, so I would just like clarification.**
A: No, this vacuum doesn’t have a HEPA sealed system, it does have multi-level filtration to reduce household allergens.
