Matches perfectly...
This paint definitely matched the # 40 located in the driver door panel of my ML 350 MB.I would recommend using a wider/finer brush if you have a larger area to cover like I did...too late now...I used a tiny brush and now have multiple brush strokes...There is not much paint in this bottle...12 ml/cc and that's it. So if you have a large area..you'll need multiple bottles.This has a mat finish...so after it dries you'll need to wax or something to buff it up and make it shine.I have NO detailing skills l...someone with skills could have done a way better job that I did...but I'm satisfied with the results.From a distance it's fine.My car is 11 years old...I backed into my son's brand new truck and destroyed his door...we are both under the same insurance policy... so I chose to try and fix my own...his will need a PRO!!Purchased the reflector for 16 bucks and this paint from Amazon...I saved major bucks and I am satisfied.

Very good touch up paint
Thought this was a third party product when I ordered it figuring it couldn’t be that much different being black paint. Very happy to see a licensed Mercedes product that matches perfectly and is of high quality.

The real deal, sandable too.
This is the real deal, and matched my 1999 C280 perfectly. Pro tip: go buy a VERY VERY small brush at an art store and only use the built-in brush for large chips. That way you'll get more professional results. You also may need to put on several coats to bring the fix up to the level of the surrounding paint. You can also sand this later with 2000 grit sandpaper, and then buff with scratch removal compound to get a near-flawless repair of paint chips. Good luck!

Good Price for a great paint
Perfect color match and really easy to apply with the built in brush, looks like a nail polisher and the quality is more than you can imagine.

Clearcoat is separate
This does not include a clearcoat component. It will stand out like a sore thumb, especially on black. Probably as much as the original scratch. The Ford touch-up paint I bought came with basecoat and clearcoat.
