convenient solution for sealing and protecting various surfaces
The BDYLYS Invisible Waterproof Agent is a transparent liquid waterproof coating designed to seal and protect surfaces from water damage. It’s marketed as a versatile product that can be used for a variety of purposes, such as repairing leaks, sealing cracks, and providing waterproofing protection on various surfaces. Here’s a detailed review of what you can expect from this product:### Pros:1. **Versatile Application**: This waterproof agent can be used on a wide range of surfaces, including concrete, metal, tile, wood, and more. It’s suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, making it a versatile tool for home repairs and maintenance.2. **Transparent Finish**: The liquid dries clear, making it ideal for surfaces where you want to maintain the original appearance. This is especially useful for areas where aesthetics are important, such as tiles, wood finishes, or decorative surfaces.3. **Easy to Apply**: The product is typically easy to apply with a brush, roller, or spray, depending on the surface area and location. It’s designed to provide even coverage with minimal effort, making it accessible for DIY users.4. **Waterproofing and Sealing**: Once applied, the coating forms a waterproof barrier that helps protect surfaces from moisture, leaks, and water damage. This can be particularly effective for sealing cracks, joints, and seams that are prone to leaking.5. **Durability**: The sealant is designed to be durable and long-lasting, providing ongoing protection against water intrusion. It can withstand exposure to the elements, including rain, snow, and UV rays, making it suitable for outdoor use.6. **Quick Drying**: The product often features a quick-drying formula, allowing for faster completion of projects. This is beneficial for time-sensitive repairs or when applying multiple coats.### Cons:1. **Limited Coverage**: Depending on the size of the area you need to cover, the amount of product in one container might be limited. Larger projects may require multiple containers, which could increase the overall cost.2. **Surface Preparation**: For the best results, the surface must be clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, or other contaminants before applying the waterproof agent. This preparation can add extra time and effort to the process.3. **Not Suitable for All Leaks**: While effective for many types of leaks and surface sealing, it might not be sufficient for major leaks or areas with significant structural damage. In such cases, more extensive repairs may be necessary.4. **Longevity Concerns**: While the product is designed to be durable, the longevity of the seal can vary depending on the surface, environmental conditions, and application method. Some users may find that reapplication is needed sooner than expected.5. **Chemical Odor**: Like many sealants, this product may have a strong chemical odor during application. Proper ventilation is necessary when using it indoors, and users should be mindful of potential sensitivities.### Final Thoughts:The BDYLYS Invisible Waterproof Agent is a versatile and convenient solution for sealing and protecting various surfaces from water damage. Its transparent finish and ease of application make it an attractive option for DIY repairs and maintenance projects. However, it’s important to consider the specific requirements of your project, including the size of the area to be treated and the nature of the leaks or surfaces involved. For general waterproofing and minor leak repairs, this product offers a practical and effective solution, though it may not be suitable for more significant structural issues.

So far, so good
Last year I put some type of waterproofing spray on the handles of my well used, well-aged wheel barrel. This spring it has a sort of hair hanging off of them. So I scraped and sanded that old, useless product and brushed the first coat of this on them. This is a fairly thick substance like it shows in the pictures. It went on easily enough on those handles and I will be putting another coat on them next spring...I ran out of good weather. I have high hopes that this time I'm not wasting my time or money! I will try to update next spring if this first coat is coming off. I think it will work fine. Then I'm going to do my tree saw handle and my garden knife handle, just to keep them in good condition.

Magic Diamond Coasters are useable now
"Magic diamond painting" is attaching colored rhinestones to make patterns, and I made some sparkly cheerful coasters to protect my wood table from my refreshing beverage. Problem is, the adhesive used for magic diamond painting, and all the sealants I've found, are water soluable -- basically clear Elmer's Glue (TM).This sealant was very easy to apply with an artist's bristle brush and the brush cleaned up nicely with warm water. I applied two very thin coats and the result is crystal clear. If the coating was clear when wet, it stayed clear when dry; if it was translucent (such as a glob between rhinestones), it got a little clearer but was still visible. It dried in the 12 to 24 hours, per the instructions. It sheds water from a faucet, and keeps the diamonds in place nicely when I let water set on it for a few hours. Most sealants aren't completely clear so not suitable for putting on sparkly things, but this one is if used properly.I also used only a tiny amount and still have enough left to coat hundreds of additional coasters if I should get the urge. I might coat a few magic diamond paintings (they brighten the dark hallways in my almost-windowless apartment), and am looking around for other uses. I'm very happy with this water resistant sealant, and happy to be able to use my sparkly coasters at last.

Good for a small project
This small container is good for a small project. I am using it to waterproof an outdoor tiled tabletop that will stay outside over the winter. I will update the review if it doesn't hold up over winter.

Thin stuff
This sealant is a lot runnier than I expected, given all the suggested uses for it. The viscosity is like runny painting medium. Mod Podge and Elmer’s-type PVA glues are thicker than this.I’ve applied it with foam brushes over acrylic painted canvases as a finishing top coat. Did it provide a smooth barrier? Yes. A lot of fumes and stickiness? Nope. Does it dry crystal clear ? No, not perfectly. When I need a clear gloss coat, I tend to go for glossy painting medium or a water soluble gloss varnish. So the fact that this stuff’s not crystal clear isn’t really a let down, just something worth mentioning.Would I paint a roof or some outdoor furniture with this stuff or use it to patch a leaky ceiling ? No, I really wouldn’t. It simply doesn’t seem hefty enough to hold up to a lot of weathering and exposure. But for some craft applications, it could be useful.

Great for refinishing furniture
I used this sealant for a table we placed outside and it has been an impressive solution for reliable protection our use. This waterproof coating is versatile enough for both indoor and outdoor applications so its great for sealing leaks, protecting furniture, or waterproofing outdoor gear. The clear formula dries to a transparent finish and makes sure that everything we coated kept their original look while being safeguarded against moisture and weather elements.
