Live fish were packaged well. Fish were in good condition and all alive when I received them. It's been awhile since my fish arrived and I am happy to say they are all still alive. I would definitely buy from this seller again.

It is very, very rare that I give 1 star reviews, and I probably wouldn't have in this case, but let me explain:My fish weren't in stock after the order so John notified me and gave me a choice of waiting or choosing different fish. I thought this was great. I chose to wait for my fish to be in stock. He stated that he expected them to arrive on Friday and that he would send them then.After I got off the phone I thought about that and thought he must have meant he'd send them Monday because the website says they ship on Monday through Thursday because they ship overnight, but I was watching my USPS informed delivery carefully, just to make sure. Saturday morning (11/25) my informed delivery said I was getting an Amazon order, so I knew it was the fish. I looked on my Amazon tracking and saw that the fish had been shipped out on Wednesday, so they had been shipped before the Thanksgiving holiday. I knew they had been in the mail a long time, so I was watching for the mail person. I was at the box when the mailperson drove away. I pulled the fish out of the box, and surprisingly there were still two that looked like they might make it (I ordered 6). I followed the directions on the paper in the box to the T on how to get them in my aquarium quickly (it says the whole process should take 20 minutes). I got them in, but they didn't make it.The next day two of my other fish, that I've had since I set my tank up (one of them my beautiful double-tailed male betta) died. I treated my tank to keep any of my other fish or snails from dying and sent an email to John explaining everything. I also said in the email that I didn't want to replace the fish, and I'm sure he spent a lot of money on shipping. I wasn't asking him for a refund, BUT he NEVER responded. I never heard one word back.In short, 1. most of the fish were DOA, 2. they killed/infected my other fish, 3. when informed there was no communication.

So I was very skeptical about buying fish online; but to my surprise, it turned out to be ok.All the fish arrived alive, healthy and active. They are all still alive today, months later.I always had aquariums as a kid; but it’s hard to find pet shops that sell fish anymore. I would definitely buy again from this company.

That’s it two survivors. Two months later… survivors are well fed in a happy tank.

All my fish came healthy and are doing great.

Received all on Saturday while was camping and UPS left on front of husband truck for 24 hrs. They were all alive! Great job!
