Great Book
I recently listened to several lectures for book's author where he referenced several sections of this book. After I got home from my trip I sent off for this book and have been reading it. I have learned a lot about the oceans and their impact on our planet. It has been absolutely fascinating.

Comprehensive
The book is clear and comprehensive in addressing multiple domains in Oceanography. Though elaborate it is Recommended as a reference text for UPSC Geography optional.

Complete Book of oceanography.For early 1-4 chapters, you can prefer Piney.But from next chapters , it is well explained in terms of ocean environment, ocean global current, Biodiversity etc....

This book paper quality is awesome. Each and very content is very clear with nice examples. Reasonable explanations. Loved it to read easily.
