The Complete Tales Of Winnie The Pooh

If you have never read this go out and buy it. A classic tale for kids and if as an adult you don't find yourself laughing out loud at A A Milne's sharp but understated prose, you need to read more! My kids are now 19-12 and the book is still a firm favourite and oft quoted!

I just bought the WH Smith version (Methuen) and the illustrations are in monochrome -just as they were when I was young. So pleased to have both titles together and so evocative to re-enjoy the magic again. Just a short review of timeless masterpieces that were|are so valuable to the young imagination .. magic.

Dear old Pooh! Surely nobody could ever tire of his wonderful adventures, so engagingly written. My own much thumbed copies of Pooh stories have been with me for over six decades. Shortly before his 68th birthday a friend of mine remarked that he had never read Pooh, so I bought this for his present, and now he is entranced.

Used this with groups of infants on world book day. They were entranced with the stories and then went off to reenact the adventures with pooh and his friends. So good to see aclassic being enjoyed by such a young audience. Excellent quality for a used copy too.

Bought a copy for my friends 6 month old daughter, I want to build up her library so starting early. Couldn't resist buying a copy for myself and absolutely loved it. Reading about Pooh and pals took me back to happier times.

Bought this to replace original copy I had as a child. I have not read it again yet, bought to read to grandsons but I know it will be great.

Book itself very nice. Very good drawing and they are in colour, I don't know why someone wrote it's in black and white. A hard cover is in a blue colour. It's quite heavy and big and "fat" so a good piece of book. I bought it as a christening present. It definitely is not a book for one evening reading but a one you will be reading for s long time and getting back to it. Another, completely opposite note about a packaging. I left a review about it too but cannot see it anywhere and I want anyone who is going to order that book to be aware of it. Basically packaging is awful. Because of poor care the book came with some dents. I want to post pictures I took after receiving the book.

This is a beautiful book with thick pages and small colour illustrations on every page and a few pages with full page colour illustrations...the binding is also good...as for the story...it is a classic in complete and unabridged form But keep in mind that this edition has the first two books-winnie the pooh and house at pooh corner...it does not contain the poems of the other two books in the series

Brilliant book

I can’t have been much older than 12 when I received my introduction to A.A. Milne. So this book evokes memories galore — mostly delightful ones.
