Patient Aid Gait Belt w/Handles, Transfer & Lift Aid for Elderly & Therapy

This has helped us not only use it to assist a family member up, but it has helped in many different ways. It helps take a strain off the care provider, but give the person needing the assistance a sense of security. Our situation was we could not put anything around the belly area of the body due to the large incision site. So we put it on the upper chest area. It was easier for the care provider to help the person up to a standing position, maneuver to a wheelchair, or bathroom as needed and also into and out of a car. It is also used to control the person as they were trying to walk. It is a good size belt easily adjustable. Has been a big help to the care providers.

The Patient Aid Two Handled Patient Transfer Handling Belt...was the perfect item to assist in picking someone up. I used it with my husband. The belt made it easier to transfer him from the sofa to a transfer chair. It took the pressure off my back. Be sure to follow instructions in placing the belt on the patient.

Like that is is very easy to adjust length. Made of sturdy webbed material and two easy hold loops to stabilize the person you are assisting. Very easy to use with the on and off clipping belt. I am a nurse and would recommend this for use for your loved one to keep them stable and prevent falls!

Its a little hard to open.

I bought this for my Dad who is in a wheelchair thinking that he could/would use it, but he just doesn't have the strength to stand or pull himself up even with a gate belt, so I had to return it. I want to leave a review because this was a very easy to assemble. Quality and sturdiness is A1, and for the price it will hold up for years.

Ok at best. Fits smaller people. No padding. Grips are helpful. Easy to use buckle. Careful not to pinch.

I recently had a fall from my wheelchair and thankfully I had this belt wrapped around my headrest and was easily helped back into my chair by 2 tiny, but strong women. No need for an ambulance. IMHO its already paid for itself.. Seeking the products for handicapped/elderly to help remove the guess work. A great gift idea.
